Neither, just save money and get the bigger brake option but opt for plain wheels. The PP2 wheels are heavy AF.
Can get wheels that look like that from any of the boutique wheel makers and save weight built with stronger material too (Forgeline wheels). Yea, you're paying for the wheels, but in the end you get lighter wheels. Can always sell wheels separately too. You will definitely find a buyer for wheels that look like that and save weight made with stronger material.

It’s been said, but sc2 tires are easy to sell. Got $900 for mine and spent $1200 on pilot super sports installed. No tramlining, great street manners. Another (biased) vote for pp2.

Not really sure why this is a question. You can add the extra hp to the PP2 a whole lot easier and cheaper than adding the different ("better") pieces from the PP2 on to the Bullitt. The question I guess would be why would you add those pieces to the Bullitt...because if you did, it would make it better. Yeah adding the extra 20 hp to the PP2 would make it better, but I would argue it is not a good bang for you buck and you gain very little where the Bullitt would gain a lot. Both cars are very good for what their purpose is, but they are meant for different purposes methinks - corner carver vs nostalgia. So if you want a car that will give you (more) smiles going around corners, get the PP2. If you want to get some smiles after watching the movie Bullitt (I do), get a Bullitt.

I had considered a Bullitt, but I really dislike green cars at least for me to own. I do like seeing SM's Bullitt though and would make an exception to own that one if I could :sunglasses:

I just don't get why so many people think a PP2 will not make a good daily driver. Put the Magneride in comfort mode (which is normal), and it will put you to sleep on the highway. Coming up to your favorite cloverleaf exit, flip it to track mode and take the exit at twice+ the posted speed limit (I have a 35 mph that is not even pushing the edge at 80 mph). Flip it back to sport, and play from light to light. What's not to like about that commute?

PP2 all day.
And twice on Sunday!

Bullitt is cool, but really just a 'profile' car IMO. 20hp won't make a noticable difference. The car would be better served by 20lb/ft.

PP2 is a drivers car, and completely street able. If you don't get, or can't appreciate, that a car like this will have tradeoffs, like tramlining, get the Bullitt.

Lots of good thoughts/replies!

I see tramlining mentioned a few times - is that REALLY an issue with a PP2 - meaning, does it occur often enough to affect drivability if used as a daily - OR does it only occur on badly crowned or “rutted” highways and minor roads?

PP2, at least that is what I ordered. And where are ya'll buying tires at? I am not seeing anything close to the prices posted online much less mounted.

Nonissue IMO. Caveat that I'm not on the SC2's though.

PP2. Personally I think the Bullitt is a bit unnecessary both as a purchase and as part of the Ford Performance portfolio.
It's technically not a part of the Ford Performance portfolio but rather a variant of the GT. Personally, I think it's quite necessary for those who like GT variants :)

With the SC2's it certainly was. I had to be paying attention all the time with the car even on relatively good highways. Once the SC2's came off it isn't noticeable for the class of car your driving.
