Hello all!
I haven't been on in a while so I'm a bit out of the loop. Some brief history, I've owned a new 2007 GT, 2011 GT and a 2014 GT/CS (with some other cars thrown in here and there). A couple of years ago I sold the 2014 and purchase a 2012 C6 Grandsport. I actually love the corvette. My only issue with it is the interior quality but other than that it looks and runs fantastic. It gets a ton of compliments and I love the removable targa top. All that being said, I'm getting the usual 2 year itch and have just started looking at the three cars mentioned above. If I go GT350 it would be a slightly used 2017+.

The prices of the 3 are fairly comparable. I've seen GT350s with low miles for right around $50k. I'm now also seeing new Bullitts around me going for around $45k. Not sure how much the GT premium with the PP2 option would be but I'm guessing it would be similar.

Given the 3, what would you all go with? I'm pretty sure I'm going to narrow it down between the new Bullitt and the used GT350 but threw the GT with the PP in there. I don't race my cars but may do some auto crossing. That's not the deciding factor though. The reason I like the track pack over a regular GT is mostly for the looks and the fact that I prefer the wider tires and wheels.

I love the looks of the Bullitt but I really love the engine in the GT350. Curious what others would do given the choice.
Thanks!

Given those three (and I was given that choice last year), I go with a PP1 GT, and if forced to pick from JUST those 3, I'd take the Bullitt (which is a PP1 GT with the GT350 intake and fewer electronics choices).

Primary driver is the tires. This is my weekend toy, not a track toy, and the tires on the GT350 and the PP2 are of no use whatsoever if you happen to get caught out in the rain.

Track toy? The GT350.

Don't buy a GT350 if you won't track it. It is a fine car to DD but doesn't come alive unless you are at (corner) speeds you can only achieve safely on a track. The Voodoo is a bit softer in engine speeds you'd see for street use, too. GT PP1 vs Bullitt? Almost the same car with different looks. Flip a coin.

if you can afford a GT350, go for it! Just test drive them both back to back and you will feel the Gt350 is a no brainer. much better car. Bullitt is a green mustang with some badges. Doesn't make sense to me. But its for people that like the movie I guess.

GT350 all day

Louder to no good purpose, harsher ride, doesn't work in the rain, eats oil like a well blowout, .....

(What the hell. If we're going to have one of these threads, may as well play.)

Get what you really want and can afford. Our opinions are virtually useless and these threads always go south when someone gets their feelings hurt. :clock:

I agree with that - and that is the choice I made. I didn't want someone's used car - so a new GT350 would have been over 30K more than I wanted to spend. The GT PP1 for me is perfect.

I love my GT but if I had been on these forums and saw the used gt350 prices I would have went that route , they look a tad better plus more HP, can’t go wrong IMO

You need to get the car you want and will work best for you. If you are a Bullitt fan than get a Bullitt, If there is no attachment there not sure of any real benefit. The 350 and GT are two totally different cars. You need to get the one that will work for you. If you are a light to light guy you will be underwhelmed by the 350. If you are a track guy you might not like the GT, But for less than the difference in price of the two cars you could mod the GT to equally or out perform a 350 and have all the bells and whistles too. I would definitely drive all three before the purchase. When I was buying mine I was 100% convinced I wanted a 350 until I drove a few. I did not see the benefits of the 350's handling just driving on the street and the thought it had about the same acceleration as the GT. I added a supercharger and some other mods and love the result, but in this situation "to each his own" is very true. Everyone else's opinion is just that. Drive them and go with your gut.
