Guessing this has already been discussed, I did a search and guessing my search skills are lacking. Also a pretty open ended request, but what the heck.
I'm installing a catback soon and would like to get any good mods in before I bolt it back in. Guessing some things might be easier with it out? I think I read in one of the shifter threads that it might be a good job to do with the exhaust removed. Are there others. I've been looking at the IRS bushing stuff, but not sure if that requires removal. I would like to avoid taking it out to do stuff in the future, but that might be a futile hope as much as I want to make my mustang mine.
So about me, I drive it around town, like to feel the acceleration and all like everyone I suppose. Like to corner it, safely of course, lol. I don't think I will ever take it to a track, but might end up going to drag it on some of the events here, but not sure on that. I'm not looking to do any engine stuff (yet), but since that's on the other end of the car, not relative I suppose.
So what are some things that require dropping the exhaust, and what things are just easier with it out?
Again, sorry if this is a repeat, can't help but get excited looking at all the stuff available.
Thanks hopefully.
