Tim,

That is a awesome and very rare car!! I would say off of the top of my head between 150k to 400k

Very nice car!! Very rare also!!
Whats the mileage on the car? I'm guessing has a few miles being a pp car? Rough guess would be 150k.
Sorry for getting names mixed up!!

Thanks again for your valued opinions. After a four day Adams hand polishing and looking at the total fit and finish of this pre production GT350R. I spoke with the manager of DST . He informed me of the Ford manager having to sign off on all 7 steps of the body and paint perfecting to become a show car for Ford . The odo is 7663 as I put 300 on it last year after I bought it from the collector that bought it from Ford . Thanks again for your inputs Jim

It's Ebay's automatic bidding for bidders.
I don't think automatic bidding is setup to make a new bid when your already the highest bidder. That's what is happening here. The person who has the highest bid just keeps bidding over and over. Maybe they are trying to find the reserve price (with 6 days left?) , or maybe some friends of his are in a fake bidding war to drive up the price and make it seem like this car is actually worth hundreds of thousands of dollars. Hard to tell. That fact that this is even on ebay to being with is a little shady.

That's exactly how it works. It will not post your complete bid. Just the next required increment over the previous bid. This happens, even if your bid is actually higher than the reserve. It doesn't automatically post your bid, until someone bids higher than the current bid shown, but not higher than your top bid. That's why you see someone placing multiple bids seconds apart. They're hoping to surpass the high bidders top bid, without committing to a huge bid.

They do proxy bidding and that is usually how it works - but this one history looks screwball. This seems like shill bidding - hope no one gets taken.

2017 GT350 now gone to a great home.
Once again, you can win the bid at $300,000 and then negotiate down to $80,000 if the seller agrees. If no agreement the buyer walks away. Everything is negotiable after the bid ends with Ebay’s Non-binding policy.

It is simply a place to advertise you have a car for sale and to gauge interest. Nothing more.

Mike,

Please stop arguing with the guy driving a Nissan Altima and has admitted he doesn't know how eBay works. You and I have had several calls about both of our collections. As you mentioned, if it doesn't sell, you will be good either way. Honestly, I hope for your sake the reserve isn't met because I know you will regret it later.

And to the others that doubt Mike's thoughts regarding values of number 1's, I was offered 250K from someone that I knew had the means a few days after I bought the car and I said no without hesitation.

Mike is incorrect about one thing however, if someone offered me 400K for my car, it would still be a fast, hard no. Why? Because I don't need to sell it, I LOVE IT, and that's pretty much it.

The value of anything is based on what two people agree, the person selling and the person buying. If you aren't a buyer for what Mike is asking, ok... Your opinion no longer matters. The only person who's opinion matters at this point is Mike's and whoever has as much or more money than Mike wants for it and is willing to give if for Mike's car.

The fact of the matter is, I have a 2015 GT350 and this 2020 GT350R. With the changes made the last two years, I would say my 2015 will be the first car to go easily. Absolutely everything is better about the 2020 GT350R. I've owned a LOT of special cars in the past and I've never enjoyed any car more than this one.

I'm so confused. Who's Mike, aren't you Mike? If so, your post is very interesting! :)

Good luck whoever - bring those values up! ;)

So now the guy pulls the car from ebay after getting 150k with like 5 days left? Lol wow. Why not just let the damn thing play out at this point and see just how high it goes before taking it down? Even if the car gets bided to 10 million dollars you can still change your mind when it's over and decide..... nope #1's are worth more than that.

Next time put the car in a real auction bro and lets see how it does.

Because it's theatre. The cars are special and 001 is cool but it feels like the owners are just pumping themselves up and it make most sane people question the validity of the auction that was underway. Added a level of sketch, for sure.
