I'm old school with this one. I use SprayWay glass cleaner first with a microfiber then again with Newspaper. No swirls, no streaks.

I use Invisible Glass also as many others here have mentioned. I also use Griot's Garage PFM Crinkle Glass Towels. These towels are the bomb! I have always been fussy about clean glass and this is the most streak free combination I have ever used!

PFM® Crinkle Auto Glass Towels, Set of 3 - Griot's Garage

For microfiber towel cleaning, Griot's sells a detergent that you can use in the washing machine. Also, never wash microfiber with any other fabrics.

look at this guy with his fancy newspaper. do they still have newspapers? i havent seen em for years. I guess the junk mail catalogs in the mail would work the same.

I used to use newspaper, but, since the advent of soy-based inks, it seems to leave an imperceptible residue that hazes over in several weeks. Luckily, I have an old end roll of newsprint around that we got from from the local paper for our daughters' craft and art projects when they were young. Newsprint with no ink on it does give an excellent final drying. I se it more on my home's windows than on the cars, since I clean the cars' windows more often.

The mailers don't work very well, and I stay away from color print as well. My neighbors across the street are in thier early 80's and still get the Sunday paper. That's my supply lol.

Invisible glass is my go to. I have a question. Is there any way to recondition a windshield after ten years? Has pockmarks very small ones over all that time. Any advice would be helpful.

What are your thoughts about micro fiber towels
I always use a GOOD microfiber towel when doing the glass. I always use a dry to semi dry microfiber towel as well.

The best results, that I have found,...using the cross hatch method.
Wipe up and down then side to side. Flip microfiber towel over, wipe up and down, then side to side.
Enjoy.

What are your thoughts about micro fiber towels and reusing? I wonder if they would get residual films from laundering? I put mine in the wash and just started using for glass realizing paper towels leave streaks (never realized that for years always thought it was the cleaner solution)
A good quality Waffle Weave towel is my favorite for glass. The Rag Company sells them. And I do launder them separately from other towels using a good microfiber wash detergent, P&S Rags to Riches is my favorite, very slightly warm water and air dry, or tumble in the dryer on no heat for a few minutes...

I have been using "the absorber" artificial chamois for 40 years. Dry the car. Wipe down the windows and wipe down the interior. No soap needed to get windows clear and dust off dash. I use this on I my tinted windows also.

Occasionally I use leather prep on seats. Been using "Leather Love" lately.
