Ugh thanks for rekindling my want to get rid of the PP1 boat anchors.
I still use my boat anchors for my winter/cold weather set lol.

I agree, went from the OEM PP1 wheels and tires to the SVE X500 wheels and shaved nearly 40lbs of rotational mass, and you're right. It made the car feel so much lighter on its feet.

My 20s TSW Nurburgring wheels made my GT ride like absolute trash (lower profile tires) and there was a weird vibration I could never get rid of(Weighted same as stock). 19inch is as big as I would go and with lighter than stock if I ever got wheels again.

I didn't go all that much lighter than stock
Stock 18x8 w/ 235/50R18 - 54.5 lbs
replaced with
19x10 w/ 285/35R19 - 54.0 lbs.

save a total of 2 lbs.

Grip gained - priceless.

I feel the same way about my SVE S350's. Made a world of difference. Not only do they look bad ass, I instantly noticed the car felt lighter and handled better. I love them every day that I see them. Enjoy your Project 6GR's. Those are some awesome rims!!

I definitely noticed ride/handling changes when I went from the stock PP wheels to my Tridents.
