That really sucks that this happend to you. These cars are so much fun. I bought mine new wiht 184 miles on it and now it's up to 93K miles on it. I have never had any serious problems with it. I hope next time you have a better experience and the car of your dreams. Good luck!
That's true. You could let the Mrs. have the six and start a secondary fund for your GT. I bet it will grow quicker than you think with a little discipline. Just keep the sixer tuned up and detailed out while you grow the GT fund. Good luck!
I was in a similar position and had a V6 which I wanted to mod. I liked it but I could not stop thinking about upgrading to a GT. I ended pulling the trigger on a GT Premium and have no regrets at all. Get as much $$$ as you can for your 6 and put it down on something that you will enjoy for...
I would not remove the decals off a Mach 1 just because of the cops. If they're gonna pull you over, they're gonna pull you over. Just drive cool and pay attention when you gas it.
I would go to a performance shop. I had my Ford Dealer install my Steeda suspension and they couldn't even finish the job due to some tool that they didn't have. I had to take it to the performance shop to complete thew work. I don't mind the dealership doing routine maintenance such as oil...
I like the Morimoto's. That's what I would go with if I had to replace them. Either that or something custom. However, I understand that some people like to keep their rides OEM which is fine too.
It's the same thing as the pool noodle (exhaust silencer) trick. I did that for a while when I first got my Borla exhaust, but then I got tired of having to go through the ritual every morning. Also, the cold starts really grew on me and I love them now. :cwl:
Congratulations! Excellent choice. I installed the Borla S-type axlebacks and I LOVE them. The cold starts are louder than hell but it sounds so good I don't even care. I know you are loving your ATAK catback system. Have a blast and enjoy!!!
I would go for the R350's. I actually was considering those for a long time, but ended up going with the SVE S350's in black. I LOVE them!!! They look 100 times better in person that in the pictures and am so happy I wen't with them. Good luck with your decision. You can't go wrong either way.
I feel the same way about my SVE S350's. Made a world of difference. Not only do they look bad ass, I instantly noticed the car felt lighter and handled better. I love them every day that I see them. Enjoy your Project 6GR's. Those are some awesome rims!!
I think you should sell it get what you really want if doesn't do too much damage financially. If it does, then do the wrap but keep in mind wraps are not cheap so maybe the money is better spent by just getting what you truly want. I was in a similar situation wiht my Kona Blue. I liked it...
I just installed a bunch of Steeda components too and my ride feels much harsher than before. People keep telling me that I've just got to get used to it and nothing will be as smooth as stock. It feels like it handles like a race car now and is super fun to drive, but our city streets are...
