Is it possible to just replace the actual stock fuel pump with a oem replacement without having to purchase a whole new basket ? I can't seem to find anything online, but was curious since I plan on running my stock one with a BAP and if it dies I would like the option of just replacing just the actual fuel pump instead of buying a whole new oem basket .

I know this is a DW400 video, but it's almost identical as far as the process.

I was speaking more to replacing the OEM fuel pump itself . I can't seem to find the actual oem fuel pump by itself as a replacement, all I'm finding online is the whole assembly / basket . Was hoping they sell just the pump. If so anyone care to share the PN# ?

Pumps aren't marked in the baskets. At least not with any part number.

Dw400 or other check valved drop in will do.

Would personally recommend a 10ga feed from fuse box to fpdm connector. 29-30 amps is common on the dw400 with booster.

Thanks for the wire upgrade suggestion I will have to look into that some more.

I am aware of the DW400 as a replacement but was looking for oem if possible but it's looking like that's not a option unless you buy the whole assembly. I was hoping I could change just the pump itself with another oem one .

Thanks everyone I will just pick up a DW400 and look into a wire upgrade moving forward .

the kpm has a nice dual setup that is oem bucket style,

we also have the li tuning twin setup as well

both are budget friendly setups

You can't, they only sell pumps as an assembly for a while now. That's why dw400 is being recommended

I believe on GT's the fuel filter is build into the bucket system, So it could be a slight benefit to get the new bucket along with the pump assembly.

The problem with that is alot of them don't have the ventiri port like the stock pump . The DW400 is the only one I could find since it was designed to work with the oem basket. I was looking for a OEM replacement drop in pump for the durability/ longevity , but ended up purchasing the DW400 drop in since options were limited which should work out anyway since it can handle 18v on the BAP ill be using .

Take the OEM assembly apart, and match the pump up with one of the aftermarket offerings. Ford didn't make the pump. Bosch, Walbro, etc. did.

Did you make sure you got one with a check valve in it,or do you plan to install an external one?

I actually haven't received it yet I bought it from a member on here . I sent DW the lot number that was on the box and they confirmed it was from a batch that was made this year so it should have one ,but I will confirm once I receive it .
