Mine went bad yesterday at 44k miles. Oem looks weak. Best alternative at a reasonable price? Also, I shouldn’t need an alignment, right?

How did you tell they went bad?
Slight increase in noise over uneven surfaces over time, but yesterday the car started making much louder noises over pavement transitions and uneven pavement. Friend of mine is a tech and after turning the wheel he grabbed the link and held it tight while I rocked the car and the sound went away.

Did you try to tighten them? If they get loose, even just a little bit, they get very noisy

Is it that simple? Not being sarcastic. Never had a end link go loose.

85 ft/lbs on the end link nuts. If loose they will pop and make you think the front end is going to fall off.

That’s what it sounds like. And since it was so sudden I think they are loose.

If they are stock and you like to corner you will bend them. I like Steeda's adjustable end links.

Most likely loose. Can retighten them and add some blue loctite. I have Whiteline end links but a BMR front bar. If you actually bent them then yea you should upgrade.

The Steeda's are nice kit. I swapped to those when I found a bent one on an otherwise bone stock suspension car.

Rock Auto sells a nice Moog replacement, steel and greaseable. Cheap too.
