Straight to the battery
Sponsored
On a relay setup, one would go straight 12v always on, another would be 12v switched.Others can chime in. That may be causing a constant drain as i would imagine your pump would always be on.
I would re route that to the fuse panel area.
Alternator isn't charging. Taking it to ford. I don't know what I did wrong
Any update? I notice that after my fuel system install that when the fan kicks on the idle drops real low and then picks back up again, like a strong draw on the electrical system.I thought about that too. Where the alternator connects to the fuse box, the damn connector melted into the plastic a bit. I'm not sure how or why that got so hot ...At this point if a new alternator and a new battery is all it takes, I'll be very happy
I don't think .95-1.00 is bad at idle.... maybe I'm wrong. It was the damn alternator wire loose at the alternator. Was overdrawing, melted at the fuse box. So thank god it was a new alternator, battery etc. Ford only charged me 70 for testing and everything. My lambda at idle is my only little issue now, it looks like I have a vac leak but cant find anything. Goes from .95 to 1.00....weird
