Others can chime in. That may be causing a constant drain as i would imagine your pump would always be on.

I would re route that to the fuse panel area.
On a relay setup, one would go straight 12v always on, another would be 12v switched.

I thought about that too. Where the alternator connects to the fuse box, the damn connector melted into the plastic a bit. I'm not sure how or why that got so hot ...At this point if a new alternator and a new battery is all it takes, I'll be very happy

Any update? I notice that after my fuel system install that when the fan kicks on the idle drops real low and then picks back up again, like a strong draw on the electrical system.

It was the damn alternator wire loose at the alternator. Was overdrawing, melted at the fuse box. So thank god it was a new alternator, battery etc. Ford only charged me 70 for testing and everything. My lambda at idle is my only little issue now, it looks like I have a vac leak but cant find anything. Goes from .95 to 1.00....weird

I don't think .95-1.00 is bad at idle.... maybe I'm wrong.

Jon said its not a big deal but wanted me to check vac lines... Have you had any issues with your fuel gauge reading wrong? Mine was saying 32 miles to empty and started to cut out going around a sharp turn lol.

No issues with my fuel level... I also try and never let it go below 1/4 tank due to the larger pumps. I'm running a 3 pump setup with 2 on and 1 on a Hobbs switch.

Your fuel level sender might not be reading right... maybe it was bent during install.
