I'm going through the whole fuel system. There were a couple of small leaks. Nothing cross threaded but damn, it sure isn't going to get any tighter, either!

Not impressed with Lethal as a company. This fuel kit has been a headache from day 1 and Lethal service/knowledge is about useless. The guys on the phone are about as dumb as a box of rocks, to boot.

And the cherry on top is now my allen head plug on the fuel rail is stripped. It was leaking. I went to remove it and now the head is stripped . Because it's low quality chineseum.

Haven't stripped an Allen head for 15? 20? years now and hundreds and hundreds of hours wrenching on cars....and then here comes Lethal Performance.

Never again Lethal. Never again.
Yeah the only component of my Lethal System that remains, is the "Box Controller". Everything else has been changed out to radium and various manufacturers fittings.

I now also use these repair sleeves/shims every time I install an AN fitting. These things make a perfect seal no matter what brand of fittings you use. I keep a few in the trunk as well incase anything ever decides to leak when Im away from home.

I installed the same fittings and didn't have any leaks, guess that's what I would and did do. Sounds like you overtightened them with no lube
Forgot to mention that Lethal told me not to do anything outside of their instructions . Including using lube.

"If it's not in the instructions, don't do it"

And they acted like I was an idiot and wasting their time for asking.

And no, nothing was over tightened. That's how I was able to snug them up after seeing a leak.

I was told their FAQ answred this. Their FAQ states no sealant/lube is needed

They stated the gauge was the only fitting that needed tape/lube

That was good enough for me at the time.
I later found the FAQ below

"Most of the fittings we use in our systems are flare fittings which seal by themselves when tightened and do not require any type of sealant. This includes fuel filter fittings, fuel rail end fittings, fuel hat fittings and any other fitting that our fuel hoses connect to. "

Well good luck
Everything works great now. If I had to do it again, I would only have bought the Lethal Box Controller for the ease of wiring, and bought everything else from Radium. The Lethal kits come with pre-made lines which at first glance seemed like it would save time and remove some guess work, but in reality it limits where you can install stuff, and makes installing the lines a total pain in the ass. (Fore makes the lines for them, so they have the crimp on type ends, not the nut and ferrule type that can be reused)

Wow. I would never use crimp on fittings, only the reusable screw on. I bought 15' of -12 steel braided PTFE fuel line and all fittings. My concern was to prevent what you went through. I am glad you finally got everything right.

Were you able to tighten or seal your AN fittings ? I have a few that are not cross threaded but tight enough and still leak . Aswell as the plugs that go on top of the fuel rail , don’t seam to seal completely
