So… tje dark horse sc is definitely no corvette killer. It’s likely going to be like an rtr spec 5.
Except the sc body kit is disgustingly looking. Looks like the 2019 camaro, one of the most hideous designs ever. Can’t believe ford went with that.

The more I look at it, the more I read on it, IF the suspension tweaks are getting rid of the mag ride and going to dssv's, I actually would appreciate it, and respect it, and probably want one. But I believe it's just a new mag ride tune, likely on way too soft springs.

Now for the weight and price tag. Those are what I really want to see. I am pretty agnostic towards it, don't hate it, don't love it. Would definitely take it if it was someone else's money.

You can bet it has the usual miniscule gas tank.

It's definitely re-tuned magneride. They only gave us the GTD titanium paddle shifters as an option.

The dark horse has a 5 liter the gt500 predecessor would still have the 5.2

How? I can't get a F150 over $100k even by going with a Platinum and every option
Sticker is well over 100k on many lol I see them at work all the time.

Who was the CEO from 1999-2019?

probably more than one person

but those were the mustang glory years

cobra R to the Coyote (and the Shelby cars)
I met Alan Mullaly in Birmingham for the 45th Mustang event ( a great event, by the way) and I asked him to sign my poster of Bob Tasca III drag car. He got truly excited an started really talking about how cool the Tasca car was and how well he was doing at the time. He even gave me his personal business card, with his email address on it! That's the kind of guy we need again.

Which years under a different CEO yielded better products? Was it in the late 60s where people thought the cars were awesome but couldn't hang with a new base gt? 225hp fox bodies? Ford tempo? Aerostar vans? 305hp top dog 4v cobra?
So the excuse is that because others did it worse, we should give a pass? Companies should always try to innovated and elevate their products. And just look at what GM is doing…Escalade Vs, Blackwings, C8s. Instead Ford had to write off billions in losses thanks to Jim “Take that Elon Musk” Farley.

Read this morning the CF wheels are an option, and the press release photos from this morning show steel rotors. It does have the 5.2 still, DCT only, CF driveshaft, 5 levels of TC, revised rear suspension (maybe they painted it darker black?), the TP has CF wheels and rotors, and some trim bits from the GTD. The car also gets revised knuckles up front, and some other odds and ends like sway bars and revised MR tuning. No word on weight or HP.

I still say it's a cool car. Not for my money, but at least Ford is getting closer to the now dead ZL1 1LE...

Hmmm...GTD/Multimatic derived?

Maybe getting the power down is the big thing here?

Great set of hardware on paper, but the looks of this thing do nothing for me. I'd wager it's still 4000+ pounds, and well over $100Kto start too.

I think it's safe to say that S550 GT500 values will be unaffected by this.
