I've been looking for an option wheels. I want something a little different. I don't want to drop big money on a new set and LMR is out of the ones I want. I may go bronze, but that won't be for a while.

While perusing Anchor Room, I found some vinyl for the wheels. For $20, I figured what the hell.

I kind of like it, and kind of don't. Its a whole lotta red. The wife came out and frowned. She said it looks like something an 18 yr old would do. Thanks babe. :asshat: Its probably more than I'm looking for, but for some reason I'm not entirely turned off by it. It will probably come off and be replaced with something closer to body color.

I also purchased the coil cover decals and engine cover stripes and the pont for under the hood. Those will be going soon.

Flame away.

Maybe some fender skirts, a continental kit and fuzzy dice hanging from the rearview mirror...

I know it was a lot of work, but I also don't care for it. I don't care for black rims either, but body color match might work. There's a white GT that I saw last week that had white rims and it looked nice from the glance I got.

I’d do the white wheels with black lugnuts. That might look better.

They make a dark grey that might work. The local dealer had a white one with some red niche wheels. It looked amazing. Too many dealer add-ons drove the price sky high.

Like I said, for $20 it was worth a shot. Just trying to a little something. I really just need to put a crowbar in my wallet and order me up some new wheels. The Carroll Shelby CS14 I think, in the hyper silver, or the GT7 in broze maybe. Or the SP2.

And @Balr14 , you forgot the curb feelers!

I don't like black wheels so I would've gotten those PP wheels if I had bought at that time, but I think that red might only work on black wheels. And maybe with fewer spokes; those wheels are a bit busy looking in something bright. I'd also say try a dark gray, for a nice contrast.

A gal at the vet I go to also has Magnetic and added red vinyl over the pony on the front, the 5.0 on the sides, and the GT on the back. She has a base GT with probably the standard silver and black wheels. Looks pretty good. She added red and black seat covers to jazz up the cloth seats and interior to complete the look.

Never know till you see it sometimes. In the end, phuck what anybody else thinks. If you like it have fun. Everyone is a judge based off their own cool aid they drink...
