I have a whippled 10R80 s550 in Australia. Are these smooth boost bypass kits tunable via the factory ecu for say boost by gear? Wengerd has remote tuned my car so I'd get him to do the follow up tunes with smooth boost if possible.
Hi John from Down Under 😆. My car was tuned at WOT remote (Wengerd). Then we ran three more WOT runs at 100%, 50%, and o%. Wengerd said that on each boost reduction my parameters were within limits which was great. So adjust the boost accordingly to road conditions. Even though I have the adjustable rheostat, I asked "IF" they had an adjustable boost controller which allows me to set boost by gear and by RPM . They said the controller is set to be ready for sale by or during winter.

Hi Doug good to hear from you. So by winter there will be a smooth boost kit that I can buy that will allow boost by gear tunes using the factory ecu??

I'd love to have 4 boost by gear tunes all set up on pcm tek and run 3.5 pulley instead of 3.75. In a perfect whipple world for me, one tune would be a street 93 tune where max boost in 4th gear and up is 11 or 12 psi and three e85 boost by gear tunes with max boost of 14 or 15 psi (what ever the max is for 3.5 pulley) coming in at 4th or 5th gears and up. Of course if this is possible I'd ask Wengerd to do the tuning.
