Thoughts? Useful for us or not? I know they currently don't offer anything specifically for the Ford's, but I know that this shop purchased a Mustang test mule or two last year and sent one of their calibrators to the Tuning School for Coyote tuning. If enough Ford interest were expressed I would expect that it could happen if it's not already in the works.

It does the same as a wastegate on a centrifugal. people have been using vacuum valves to control the boost for a while so that parts not new. it may work a little better but not sure how much interest it will get

If you own a 2015+ mustang with a Whipple on the Whipple calibration (or Roush on Roush tune) you have Ford Oem bypass logic which is better then smooth boost.

cool idea, but hacking your throttle body wiring is a bad idea for reliability.

Isn't the 2015+ Whipple still using a vacuum bypass? I thought the appeal to this was the electronic valve that could react faster/smoother. I was more interested in the ability to adjust boost from the cabin, scramble button, valet, etc. I wasn't aware of hacking the throttle body wiring, but the company selling it is a VERY big name, well respected Dodge performance shop. They built the Jeeper Sleeper for AZN from street outlaws and I believe it uses this controller as well.

In talking to the calibrator last year, they aren't having any trouble selling these for Dodges. Dodge is the bread and butter of the parent company.

All of the aftermarket blowers use vacuum bypass.

Ford has some oem pcm logic that controls the throttle (which controls the bypass).

Both Whipple and Roush utilize it.
