Edit, sorry, I was wrong. It’s -1.5 for the GT350 and -1.75 for the R

Anyone know what the mounts look like installed? My 2019 came with the option the dealer stated they are installed but I don’t see anything different. On my race cars ( Datsuns) they are visible. Anyone have pics?

Here they are; you should be able to see the part numbers if you look at the right angle:

Something must be up, I think the recommended track setting in the owner’s supplement is -2 or -2.2 in the GT350 so you should be able to get at least that on both sides. I haven’t tried to adjust mine yet
They changed the recommended track settings to -2.2 deg neg camber up front in the 2019 manual. I'm confused to why the left and right maxed out differently. FYI the caster changed with the plates installed and is uneven side to side as well.

The alignment shop is a muscle car specific shop, they seem to know what they're doing. But I'd like to see what others are getting b/c this is so odd.

@21418 do you plan to change alignment to track specs anytime soon?

So it seems like mine are attached but the driver’s side is labeled passenger side and passenger side one says drivers side. Still waiting until the recommended 1000 miles before possibly tracking the car, but seems to go down the road straight. I am certain Ford labels them driver and passenger for a reason.

Have a number? I don’t see one on the website. Thanks
It’s prominently featured near the top of the GT350 Basics sticky. See link below.

Thank you for pointing me to that thread. I spoke with Ford Performance but the person who was knowledgeable in that area was unavailable so they recommended I email them. I will share their response when I receive it. I also recommend all owners with the Handling Package check to confirm the strut mounts are installed correctly.

Aside from left vs right I wonder if there is more to this - mine were installed Monday and reportedly has added a noticeable mount of NVH to the drive even just on the dealer lot. I've not been there or had a chance to see parts or talk to the mechanic. I'd like to study the assy procedure if it's documented as pdf or video. Anyone know of such a resource?

Funny - I can get access to this (my pic of Indycar suspension) for a related project but not detailed info from Ford on a FP vehicle that I paid and waited 9 months for.

What is surprising is that my Shelby drives and rides great even with the mounts reversed. In fact it is so smooth I’m hesitant to have anything altered until I hear back from Ford Performance.

Hi Allan. Did you start off with it or is it something you added later (after some drive time without it) and would have noticed a noise or other NVH difference? Your experience makes me wonder if there are other ways or reasons it would be loud (installation errors)?

I'm going to call Ford Performance myself now to get in the queue - like you I'll share anything I learn. Thanks man.

Take it back to the dealer. They were shipped uninstalled and Ford paid the dealer to install them, they’re responsible for making sure they’re correctly installed. You got your gurney flap too(just checking )?

I drove mine for a week without the camber plates installed and didn’t notice any increase in NVH after the install.
