Umm the reason i posed that in the 1st place was about the ford could have saved a bunch of money making 1 intake comment.

Each were designed for a specific application is all im getting at.
OMG... haha. And that is the point that was being make originally. He stated Ford "coulda" (his spelling not mine) saved a bunch of money by manufacturing only one intake, but they didn't. Instead they designed three for specific purposes. :clap2:

You just restated what he said.

Unless you guys think this is that important why don't we move on to the manifold discussion

There's different intakes all for different purposes. Just like the GT350 gives power in high rpms the F150 does the opposite and gives power in low rpms. Each manifold completes a different task depending on what your going for

I almost think that they were using intake and manifold to mean the same thing (in that mini discussion), which they aren't of course.

^This lets keep it civil guys. Nothing wrong with more options. If you guys aren't into the F150 that's fine but no need to derail a topic.

Wonder how this and the GT manifold for 15-17 car will stack up against the 18+ intake manifold. The 18+ GT manifold looks similar too the new F-150 manifold with what appears to be a 80mm throttle body so I wonder if it's the same as the F-150 or just a modified GT350 manifold with a smaller inlet.

I'm thinking along the same lines. 2018 intake is probably a GT350 intake. When they lowered the price to $300 something a couple months ago made me think it's a standard part. Even though they quickly raised it back due to demand
