Intake installed. Drove around block. Little bit of a kick for sure. Feels pretty close to S+ mode but all the time. Gotta get creative with zip ties on the fuel rail foam. Weird not having an engine cover.

A+ so far.

Side note. Probably just my imagination but I also notice a bit of "sucking" sound coming from the front of the intake after the throttle body. Could not find a vacuum leak though. Vacuum leaves appear to be higher than what I noticed with stock. 19-20 mHg vs 17-18 mHg. I am not entirely certain that is a good thing. Anyone able to confirm?
How was the install? Is there a DIY that you followed?

From a PM:

Any steps you remember, anything stand out that proved to be difficult? I have mine sitting in the garage along with the sensor to plug the hole.

Thanks in advance.

Nope. Followed the LMR GT350 install almost exactly. Placed all the attachments that were on the GT manifold directly to the F150 one. Make sure you clean off and watch or plug the intake ports on the block as it is stupid easy for things to fall in there. Especially bits of shop towel. Undoing and reattaching the 2 white sensors and the wiring harness tags(?) on the back side of the intake were the biggest pain. Then as I previously stated in my post you gotta get creative with some zipties on the heater hoses and fual rail foam since the attach points for the holders are no longer there.

Took me a long time (4 hours?) only because I have never taken my mustang apart before. Thankfully it isn't like Chevy where they have hidden bolts.

And no tune for me right now.

Guys, I will request that if you have a question about the install to ask it here instead of a PM. Other people will be and have been asking the same question as you, hence why I keep posting PM quotes. Most of the questions have been answers already in prior posts. I'm not trying to blow you guys off but it really is straight forward once you get rolling.

Hey man, glad to hear the IM swap is pretty straight foward. Where did you find the LMR install directions for the GT350 IM? I checked their website but didnt see it.

Do all the hoses and attachments from the stock manifold match up with where they go on the F150 manifold? My biggest worry is getting everything off and not knowing where to connect the hoses and other attachments.

Here is the LMR install video posted earlier in the thread.

From Late Model Restoration install of a pp3 manifold. This video helped me out alot. Of course there are some differences when installing the F150 vs the PP3.

I believe around the 10min mark they start explaining how to torque the bolts.

And yes. ALL of the hoses connected exactly. In-fact despite the video I was able to get away with only disconnecting some of those things as stated in the video. Like the actual intake. I only disconnected the noise tube from the intake and left it attached. The intake itself I left in place and removed only the top half leaving the filter and the bottom half connecting to the grill in place. Watch for how the connections are actually locked. Some of them are push some of them are pull then push. Don't force anything because you will break it. Again, all the parts will connect back pretty much exactly as you took them off. Same places and all. In fact when you get the GT manifold off just set them next to each other and transfer everything over. If it is on the F150 manifold when you bought it just take it off and use the part that is on the GT manifold.

Just use a torques bit and take the one off the GT manifold and put it on the F150 one. Its the same thing. Those 2 sensors that look free floating are for the white connectors at the back.
