Exhaust Question

So I am thinking about getting a new exhaust but don't want any drone. I am in the early stages of research and figured this would be the best place to ask. My question is....do all aftermarket systems have drone or are there some that don't? Sorry if this has been previously discussed and thanks in advance.

Borla and Corsa are well known for not having any drone.

I have the Corsa Sport cat back and love it. Nice and mellow when cruising with no drone but she growls when you lay your foot into it. I also just installed the PP2 and she sounds a bit louder then before.

Corsa Sport catback.

Super rich, modern muscle tone, with some exotic flair. 304 Stainless throughout. Zero, absolutely zero drone. When cruising it's stock quiet. When you downshift and get on it, it comes alive and roars. Solidly loud but not obnoxious. Excellent for DD. I absolutely love mine. Can be had for a few hundred less than the usual prices via the great vendors on here if you get in touch.

My only experience is with the Corsa Sport catback. I love it. You'd be hard pressed to tell there's an aftermarket exhaust on the car when cruising on the highway.

lol whole thread runs corsa sports! (me too!). The sport is decently loud so unless you want it to be really loud dont get the extremes. The extremes are basically straight pipe loud or louder so be careful especially if you're in an environment that has strict volume control.. cold starts are intense! No drone as everyone has said. I hear AWE exhaust is a pretty popular newish option aswell.

Pro tip, buy from a forum vendors when via pm. They give a much better deal than on their site/MSRP.

Do you plan on retaining your catalytic converters? If yes, Corsa extremes may work for you as well. The extreme catback is louder, but still has a crisp sound with cats. If you plan to remove the cats, I would go with Corsa sport! Looks like there are lots of fans in this thread, myself included!

Corsa Sport all the way. I have them with my catted longtube headers. Very tolerable when being civil. Wakes the dead when I really want to. Can't even tell I have headers cruising on the highway. As all the others have said in this thread, zero drone and I do absolutely mean zero drone.

Until you throw some off-road headers on it, then it is all bad lol I speak from experience.

Op, I am currently running AWE Touring Catback and have zero drone, even with off-road headers.

Magnaflow street catback 19100 and competition catback 19101 sounds great. They're both only $900 on ebay free shipping. I think the street series sounds perfect. Louder but not obnoxious.

Many forum members swear by the Corsa Sport...it does sound great, but a little too much volume for me.

The Corsa Sport is outstanding with stock headers. With aftermarket headers, I do believe for some it can get a bit loud when you give it some gas, but for many that like a good loud without being absolutely insane like the Extremes, it fits the bill nicely.

Corsa cat backs are consistently low drone across all the cars I've tried em on. I would go that route if drone is the #1 concern, they're the king of low drone. If volume is a concern get the sport version, it's plenty loud and sounds a little more refined. Especially if you do headers or go catless later the Xtreme is just going to be way too loud. The Xtreme is very loud even with cats and factory manifolds. Obviously everyone has different tolerances for these things, but IMO you really can't even start the car with xtremes at night unless you like being an absolute dick to your neighbors or live in a rural or large acreage area. I don't like being that guy, but my car isn't a daily so I just don't drive it late at night or super early.
