Not an H or X type question. How much volume difference is there with the stock (Non active valve) exhaust with just a resonator delete? I know the sound is more tuned with a full system. But how much louder is a resonator delete?

I’ve heard something like a 20-30% increase in volume with a resonator delete. I just bought an H pipe for mine (I have active exhaust) but haven’t installed yet. I’ve heard that the non-active mufflers can sound tinny with a resonator delete but I’ve not heard any in person to confirm that.

I'm on my second Mustang with a resonator delete. Current setup is with active exhaust and Steeda X pipe and it sounds like there is more volume and growl. Its "more" without being annoying. I initially did a basic non-brand H pipe but felt that it was a tad bit restrictive so went with the Steeda X and glad I did.
