  1. Is this normal?

No, that's not normal. Video would help here, but I'd say take it in. Sounds like a problem with your synchros.
  2. Clips/Tabs/Push Pins

Autozone or one of the other stores usually has a selection of universal ones, and they also have some specific to Ford (as well as Chevy, Honda, etc.)... you can usually find some that will work cheaply and easily there, even if they're not the exact OEM ones.
  3. Past Cop at 150 MPH

    i'm so jealous right now
  4. Exhaust

I picked up a resonator delete H pipe, from CJ Pony Parts I think. Cheap and easy way to get a better sounding exhaust. Later I cut and clamped on the Ford Performance Borla Touring axle backs for a bump up, and I love the sound now. That's a cheap and easy way to get into exhaust mods.
  5. Is it normal for a 2017 Mustang PP to have squealing brakes at 7,500 miles?

You don't have to remove the bolts and calipers, or use a piston compressor tool, on the brembos. The pads come out with the calipers still in position. Great and easy design. The back ones though are still sliding calipers so you'd have to do this on the rear.
  6. Is it normal for a 2017 Mustang PP to have squealing brakes at 7,500 miles?

It's ridiculously easy, Brembo calipers are designed to do a pad swap track side in a few minutes. You don't even have to remove the calipers; the pads come out through the "side"... There's plenty of videos on YouTube. The only tricky part is getting all 3 pistons on each side of the caliper...
  7. Is it normal for a 2017 Mustang PP to have squealing brakes at 7,500 miles?

Even after a good bedding, the brembos will start to squeal again after some time. The only way to avoid it is swapping pads as the stock semi-metallics are great for performance but are noisy and dust a lot. For street driving, most people compromise and get different pads. Still great...
  8. 2016 PP first Brake Pad Change - need recommendations please

Powerstop Z23s have been great. Very low dust, good performance, a little squeal during the recent cold weather but usually dead quiet. 45 bucks for the entire front set on rockauto.
  9. Help not sure what it is

Well it could also be wheel hop, caused by loose rear suspension. Hard to tell without sitting in it. But if you don't have any suspension mods, I'd put money on it being the clutch/flywheel since that's been changed and causing problems already. But I suppose you could swap the vertical links...
  10. Help not sure what it is

May need to get your flywheel resurfaced, uneven wear and deposits from the new clutch. It's certainly not the driveshaft. If that were the case it would cause constant vibration at speed, that increases with speed, not jumping when coming off a stop. Think a washing machine with an uneven load
  11. Exhaust Mods...what did you fit and why ?

I fitted a H pipe resonator delete and Ford Performance Touring axleback by Borla, because it sounds awesome. Not too loud when cruising, no drone, and a symphony when you step on it. All the cutting and clamping was kind of a pain though but the catback system only came with a x pipe and I like...
  12. Exhaust Question

No drone from my Borla Touring from Ford Performance axlebacks with H pipe resonator delete.
  13. CA Dealerships and the FP Power Packs

Yep. I think CJPP may have a video on it too. Also I'm sure others on here have posted installation guides and helpful tips. I'll give you one: when removing the sound tube from the firewall, a lot of people just yank until it break and rips out because the nut holding it on is very hard to...
  14. CA Dealerships and the FP Power Packs

Same bs in Houston. Called every dealer here and couldn't even get a quote. The one ASE certified shop quoted me 6 hours of labor. So i did it myself in about an hour. For your info, I didn't lose my factory warranty. I just don't get the warranty on the PP2 parts I installed (the intake tube...
  15. advise needed on Ford Performance Power Pack 2

Not at all. This is a non issue, not sure who started it. I daily mine and wash it regularly.
  16. 2015 GT PP Hard Starting Issue

Good god. I'd start looking into lemon laws.
  17. One last question before order

Shaker Pro. It's not a bad system at all.
  18. 2015 GT PP Hard Starting Issue

Wow, the start in that video is terrible. What happens if you pump the gas pedal a little while it's trying? I would be 100% furious at Ford if they were treating me like that.
  19. 2015 GT PP Hard Starting Issue

Yeah I don't think that should be a concern with a modern fuel injected engine. I'd focus on air charge (air filter cleanliness, MAF sensor, throttle body not sticking or defective, vacuum leaks from your intake manifold). But that's just a hunch. Weird it's not throwing any codes.
  20. 2015 GT PP Hard Starting Issue

I don't ever push the button twice. I get in, push the clutch, then start it. Never had a single problem like you're having. Maybe that sequence of button/clutch/button again is what's causing it? Have you tried not doing that?
