CORSA & BORLA are great exhausts and I’ve owned them both on other vehicles. For the Mustang I was looking for a different sound and spent a few months deciding between AWE Tuning & KRONA Performance. I chose the KRONA and couldn’t be happier. The fit & finish is as good as anyone and the customer service is outstanding. Sounds pretty good too, lol.

So I am thinking about getting a new exhaust but don't want any drone. I am in the early stages of research and figured this would be the best place to ask. My question is....do all aftermarket systems have drone or are there some that don't? Sorry if this has been previously discussed and thanks in advance.

Some systems will not drone. The Corsa systems will not drone what so ever and the Borla S-Type is another popular system that will not drone on you. Let me know if you need any pricing or have any questions, I would be glad to help out.

I agree the Borla / Corsa options are great - have had a chance to check a few out in person and they are very nice. That's really my point, if you can, try to find a local and listen in person because these are so subjective (exhaust notes, tones, drone, etc.).

At present I'm running a budget setup - Pypes Pro Touring Axle back / SR Performance X-Pipe. I did so thinking it'd be on there for a while until I saved up / decided what route I wanted to go longterm. I like it enough now that I may just leave it - it's 2.5" stainless (409, not 304 except tips). To my ear it's a low, aggressive tone, but with the combination a good bit louder than stock. I have received several compliments, and the neighbors (very conservative) haven't complained (but I'm not out revving it all the time).

Anyway - a link to a few videos : https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCFBvpqdPm0A_e5_w4olHvmA?

I just put up the one of my backing the car out and pulling away (light acceleration). The hill assist feature always fights me, makes the car sound kinda weird at first when I pull away... maybe I should turn it off...

AWE Touring Catback was my choice, great sound when you get on it, no drone at all. All stainless steel construction with an H Pipe. Less exotic sounding and more old school hotrod.
