You said 3000lbs. Im just saying there are heavier cars going much quicker. My buddies 3900lb Camaro went 4.58 to the 1/8. That's way quicker than we're talking about.
With a factory trans without some crazy stall converter? Still able to run on pump?

Very few cars are running quicker than 9's on pump gas (93 octane) if that's your requirement. I went 8.80's on 93 in my old foxbody. I wouldn't even think about trying it in my S550 with a small engine and high compression.

I didnt say running on pump. I asked if it’s still capable of running on pump. If I threw 2100cc injectors at my car pump gas would no longer be a possibility.

But you understand my point. If I wanted a race car it start with. A lot lighter chassis
I have to agree, I use to race all the time, but it was never a 4000lb 100k car. To each their own, but I would never buy a fully loaded, heaven 70-100k car to go trash at the track, install roll cages, race seats harnesses etc. JMHO

Everyone has requirements. Some are very specific, some not so much.

Best times yesterday, 10.62 on the 120mm on e85 and 10.28 on the 100mm on e85 with traps of 135 and 140 respectively. Car is shifting at 7k so there is much more left in it. Also got a draggy hit with both pulleys and the 120mm did a 6.6 and the 100mm did a 5.75. The 100mm draggy time was with a 275 lb passenger so the car weighed around 4300 lbs at that time. There is much more left in the car with higher shift points.

Any idea why the car is shifting at 7k?
You're Lund tuned, correct?

Those are decent times but there's a lot left on the table for your setup as you said.

No idea but yeah Lund tuned, so I’m not worried about it. They will get it figured out.

Ok was curious as I'm also Lund tuned and the car is shifting early around 7100-7200 and so is the car of another member on here I talk to
Does Lund alter the tranny calibration in S or D mode? Many only alter normal/D mode........

exactly what I was thinking. I have always been told to use normal drive mode. the only time I use sport mode is for gear selection on roll races and punch it into drive once I'm going.
