Engine clicking Gen1 GT350 plz help

Today I took my 2016 GT350 for 100k service and the agency in Abu Dhabi shucked me they found click sound from bottom of engine. They ask me my warranty is finished and if I agree to allow them to open my whole engine which I refuse and I took it back. I post my engine video sound, Please help what shall I do?

Yeah…. That’s not normal. Without opening the engine it is likely impossible to say exactly what the issue is. Are there any check engine lights?

Does the click/knock change with RPM?

Unfortunately I think the engine will open itself if you don't address it. You could try an engine oil analysis to see if there are any elevated levels of metal.

Its a clapper, put some ceratec in it and sell asap.

Yeah I think the right solution is to open it up and be prepared to replace bearings.

if its too expensive you could look around for another shop, or front the money and sell the car after its fixed.

Hard to tell on a video,…but almost sounds like an exhaust leak, ie; cracked manifold, etc.

anything I have heard from spun bearings is a much louder knocking/clacking, yours sounds more like a loud tic

Pop the serpentine belt and the AC belt off and see it if changes. Also rev it to see if it speeds up. If the noise is still there it could be an exhaust leak, but I would bet on internal engine.

Sounds like a lifter to me. Too loud for the cold start tick that ford issued a SB for. I don’t think it sounds like an exhaust leak to me.

Sort of sounds like the coyote tick. Drive it another 100k miles and see if it gets worse.

Unfortunately, that sounds just like my engine did one day before the engine blew. It hard a hard time starting, and once started it was running rough and sounded like a diesel engine. The next day the check engine light came on, really started to run rough, and that was it. Engine failure from a timing issue was the codes that came up.

I have major piston slap when cold and some sort of random metal to metal shudder occasionally that sounds like exhaust rattling against something. This sounds much much worse.

I have to think if you keep driving it, it’s going to get catastrophically worse. Things are happening in there that shouldn’t be.

gonna have to open the engine at some point. Either now or when it seizes up and major stuff breaks.
