does it make the same noise if you are stopped and revving to that level?

I haven’t payed attention to that when I give it a rev while stopped but I don’t think so. I will try it when I get home.

I don’t notice it if I’m going through the gears or if I raise the rpm a little it goes away.

Doesn’t seem to do it when I rev in gear. I did notice though the the exhaust is in quiet mode I can here through 3-4K RPM. Here are some more videos I took. In the video of the outside of the car I can hear it in the cab but it’s almost like you can’t hear it outside as much but at the 3-5 second mark of the video you can hear it faintly. The other one is reving not in gear. Also I noticed it seems like a vibration.

Anyone with experience on the rattling with the plate between the engine and transmission; does this sound like that? I don’t think it sounds like piston slap to me.

I had the trans to engine plate rattle. It sounds more like a vibration related noise than an engine knock. If your not sure of the difference between an engine knock and a sheet of metal vibrating, maybe see if you can find someone local to help.

It doesn’t sound like an engine knock at all. It’s more of a vibration noise just seems to be coming from the engine bay or that area.

Just had a friend lightly rev it while I was standing outside and I couldn’t hear it. I don’t know why it’s so hard to capture it on video. I seem to only here it while driving at a steady rpm.

Did you ever get this problem clearly identified? My 2018 does the same when 'not under load'.

I've had this issue before with a built motor in my 03 GT. The cause was the piston connecting pin holes were out of tolerance. I.e. the hole to place the pin in was larger than the pin itself. It was a defect in the forged pistons i purchased. The result was chatter in the cylinders when not increasing or decreasing RPM's.
