Pull the cover and have a look at the core. Something is holding up the flow possibly. There’s also 2 bolts under the 2650 plates on the top.

How were you able to build boost sitting still? I admit I’ve never tried it though.
I put a new gasket on this evening and same result. The intercooler appears to look like new. Some slight oily residue on it but nothing crazy. I am stumped and have no idea what would cause this to balloon like this. 🤷‍♂️

Pretty interested in this. Someone needs to hook up a dial indicator with a max function and see how much that thing actually moves. Doesn't look right, that's for sure. Aluminum doesn't have great fatigue properties, so cracking after a hundred thousand cycles like that could be a concern.

Hey guys need a little help with something. I've started the install on my E-force and realized I don't know if I have 91 or 93 in the tank.... With no actual plans to boost the car I'd generally use 93 but if it wasn't available I put in 91. That being said the tank is pretty full and I've gotten pretty far in the tear down to want to put it all back and run the tank empty and refuel. Is there a relitively easy way to remove the gas from the tank? If not can I drive the car on a start up tune to empty the gas and refill with 93? The kit did come with a tune but I've added Bosch 57lb injectors and a VMP BAP. The BAP can be installed anytime but what would the injectors do if there not tuned in and the ecu thinks there stock? Any help is appreciated.

You can drive the car and put 93 in when it's down, just have to keep your foot out of it. Don't "lug" the motor and don't do any WOT pulls.
So let me just try and get this right, I can drive it with the blower, bigger injectors and BAP with no tune and stay out of boost, or will I need some type of start up tune?

You will need some form of base tune for sure. I think what @aleccolin means is once you have the base tune, stay out of boost with the current 91 octane. Let the tuner know it’s 91 right now but will be 93. They’ll just lower timing a bit to account for the 91 vs 93. Who’s the tuner?

Haven't decided yet for tuning, initially wanted to go to Michigan and get tuned by Lidio at Alternative as he did my 2011 with Roush SC, but he wants the car a few days as he hasn't tuned the Edelbrock before. He just wants some cushion if things don't go the way he wants. I've also looked at a local shop specializing in Corvettes but the owner owns a Coyote and has tuned several supercharged ones and said he has no issue tuning. Is there any CAI available for the kit aside from the Edelbrock one and is there any benefit to it? Considering I'm going with a custom tune I might as well add what I can. Thoughts??

So I found this on my YouTube adventures and decided to bite the bullet and order it. Rather pump out the fuel then pussyfoot around for 250 miles trying to empty it out.

Aren't fuel drain tunes free?

I mean mine was.

Maybe? I just went with the kit so I didn't have to rig up the hose set up or have to get a tune, Most tuners here are using some kind of plug in device where they buy credits for tuning so the customer doesn't need a hand held tuner anymore, and at that point I'd still have to get the car there and do the fuel drain at there shop.

In all honesty I have no clue, the last time I tuned it was on an SCT X4. The kit came with an SCT BDX but none of the tuners seems to care for it....

Back again, so I'm at the point of where the brackets are installed and I'm ready to put on the belt tensioner and idler pulleys. I've run in to a little hurdle and was hoping to get some help.... as of now the AC line is in the way of installing the tensioner, I've gone ahead and bent it slightly out of the way so that the tensioner can go on but it still sits resting against it. Is it safe to bend some more or maybe I should look at using a few zip ties to hold it off the tensioner? Any help is appreciated.
