What is your end goal?
A reliable street car, I don't track the car, i'll do the odd highway pull here and there but nothing serious. The car see the garage more then the street, I get like 1500-3000km on it if i'm lucky in a year.

Most reliable setup would be a bap and injectors with a decent aftermarket tune. There are a few injectors to be had, 1000cc is the standard most start with because we all get greedy and want more. They will idle fine and provide plenty of headroom for all but the most hardcore upgrades, like wanting 1000 wheel HP.

But you can use the 2020 GT500 52 lb injectors if you want. I don't think though that they are that much cheaper than a 1000cc injector, I only paid 550 for mine pre pandemic.

Put a BAP/1050x in it, this way u are covered if u wanna run Sunoco 260 and a teeny bit more boost or an additive like Boostane

However if u ever go E85, you’re gonna need a Fore Stage II fuel system but u would be ok using the 1050x’s and would just need to resell the BAP

260GT has the same Stoich as regular pump gas. It's when you start using fuels with lower stoich values will you begin to tax the system especially at elevated boost pressures.

You can run up to 15 lbs of boost on a 260GT tune, maybe those GT500 injectors can do it I'd ask the tuner though. GT500 injectors are 65lb/hr at 55 psi rail pressure.

I’m well aware of what 260 is…

What I was saying is I’d MUCH RATHER buy 1050x’s now vs a 55lber so I already have them and wont need to buy injectors twice?

Now like u said u could POSS get away with 15lbs, a BAP & 1050x’s on 260GT but again thats YOUR decision. For sure 13lbs would be pretty safe but I don't know if I’d push it any farther as we’ve seen pressure drop once pushing this type of combo in many setups

Hell Flores ran 260GT with a similar setup and saw pressure drop at higher boost on his Centri, not me I wouldn't risk it and neither is he

Truthfully if it were me, BAP/1050x GOOD fuel (260GT) 13lbs….

Anything more, Fore Stage II would replace the BAP/Stock Pump

If u are happy with 630RW, I’d still run at least a BAP with the kits injectors supplied but thats me…

that's what I was getting at, 1000 cc will get him close to 1000 on e-85 so I wouldn't waste time on a smaller one especially when the car will run fine with them.

At this point though with the money involved with those 1050x injectors I would get something even bigger, IF I knew for a fact I was going on for more power later on down the line.

I just checked a few stores and almost ALL of the 1000 cc injectors are retailing for 700+ the ID1050x are 1100+ in most stores holy hell! at this rate the FIC 1440 seems to be a steal, I just bought a set for ~1200 plus tax.

Shit man... this inflation is killing me.

Looks like I'll be going with Bosch 57lb injectors and JMS PowerMAX or VMP BAP. I'm planning to stick with the stock Edelbrock setup on 93 and think this will be sufficient insurance for 620rwhp its supposed to make. My tuner also doesn't want to tune for larger injectors if my goal isn't more horsepower. Thanks for the input guys and I know I'll be back with more questions during the install.

Yep I agree to a point at that price if your looking to make big boy power then go 1440 but honestly most don’t need that big because after 800rw on a stock shortblock you’re taking a big risk at going Booooom

1050x for 90% of the guys in here are fine, jmho

lol Lund just told me I will fall short of my max effort 1300 wheel goal with 1440's and I need 1650s or 1700x.... I'm not so sure but I'm gonna find out.

Don’t bother with a BAP. Put a new fuel pump in with ID1050x injectors.

New member here! Thanks for the add! I have a question on my SC. I had a misfire on cylinder # 8, found out it was the coil pack and replaced it. Ever since this the SC doesn’t sound the same and the lid balloons when I jump on it. I am making 10 lbs of boost and have never seen it ballon like that. Does anyone else’s lid balloon when they jump on it? I have had no luck with EB. The car is running fine and it builds boost but it does seem a bit less powerful in the upper gears and this could just be in my head but not sure. Any feedback would be appreciated.
