They have a cup spacer on the nozzle. They do not have the hat style spacer like the IDs and the DWs. It is the reason I went with them. I was afraid of going through the trouble of the fuel rail install only to have it leak at the joint and have to do it again. Installing them took 45 minutes or so and I was taking my time. I recommend them unless you need bigger than 1000cc. 1200 and up use the hat style spacers.

Well I'm still waiting for the injectors to arrive. I've gone with the ID1050x's after Lunds advice. I am hoping for no issues with install.

Are people using the clips with the ID1050x?

My saga with the brass IAT sensor is ongoing. Mainly because I am not getting any responses from Edelbrock. I stayed up late the other night (time difference) and rang Edelbrock.I was told that my message will get to the appropriate person and that it's probably in the mail? I don't care if it's going to take 2 weeks but I just need some confirmation that it's coming/not coming. I know times are tough and things are moving slower than normal because of Corona.

I also contacted the business that I bought the kit off to see if they had a better contact. They eventually got back to me and the advice they got was that the issues were more prominent with 2018 onwards; I should be ok on a 17!

Anyway this has given me time to install a boost gauge. I went with a mechanical type.

How about that fancy LTR? Any chance you’d sell it separately?

Nope, sorry. Mine is a 15 and I think I was the first or second to have the IAT problem. The one thing I will say is that I only had problems with the plastic sensor below 45*F...not sure how cold it gets in Australia.

The oil drain/fill plug is here:

I don’t think there’s any way you could do it without removing the blower, but I could be wrong.
My Edelbrock contact confirmed that the blower oil is good for 100,000 miles. To do an oil change at that point the blower assembly must be removed from the car. Prize to the first person who can get to 100k !

Yeah once it's been installed you have to pull the blower out to change the oil, there is no way to get the oil out once it's sitting in the car. You have to stand it up with he drain plug out for the old oil to come out

Did you email Tony Avina? He 2-day shipped me a brass sensor and different harness the same day. Even threw in a few stickers. Don't be afraid to make the switch with it installed. It came out easily and I had already been running it for a year.

Just in case others are in my situation in regards to brass sensor.

Lund wants me to use a brass sensor. They tried to explain it to me but I got a bit lost in the technical stuff.

The brass sensor on its own can be purchased from eBay but you will need to solder the Edelbrock harness on. You can also get the complete plug and play from VMP.

Not sure if someone can explain it. I presume there are other differences between one being plastic and the other brass? Does brass give a more stable reading?

Is IAT and IAT2 pre and post blower temps?

Yes I've been in contact with. He is refusing to send it. It took multiple emails just to get that response....

Well...

IT’S ALIVE!!!

Got everything all back together... except the front bumper and under tray to look for leaks. All great... except for my pouring skills.

Yea, I wish someone would have said what a pain the butt the fuel rails are to put on... no one even mentioned it... lol

Lund tune started right up.

5 codes on initial start though... had to rescan my nGauge too but I didn’t see the 2011+ Ford only a 2008+. Maybe I’ll rescan it once I get the bumper back on.

Question though. Exactly how much coolant should the intercooler system take? I know I’ll have a big air bubble somewhere but flowing good through the pump now.

How much did everyone put in the system?

Thanks!

Great news! So jealous.
What are the codes it's throwing up? Tune related?

Not sure if tune related. They cleared fine and didn’t come back for the 15 minutes the car was idling...

The first was the P0316, P2008, P2011,P2014 and P2019. IMRC stuff except the first which is a misfire in the first 1000 revs I believe.

I’ll let Lund know tomorrow but will likely start the data logging for them tomorrow night.

It’s exciting for sure.
