Has anyone tried adapting the GT350 TB and intake already? Stage 2 upgrade is crazy expensive for what it is. Edelbrock needs to do a TB plus intake combo for much less money. The injectors are useless for custom tunes and I don't need the 8 rib setup.
Wouldn’t you just use the pro-tuner kit? As far as the TB goes, not sure sorry.

The GT350 TB is really hard to tune correctly. Most tuners will refuse to tune your car if you have that TB. Surging is the main complaint.

My current plan is to use the GT 350 TB and GT 350 cai from my frpp2 setup along with bigger injectors. If I can't get a tune for that, then I'll probably ask the guy whose actually doing the tune what tb, cai, bap and injectors he thinks would be best. I was planning on doing it this fall but I'm satisfied with the e-force 93 tune for now.

I have the GT350 TB on mine and tuned with no issues by Palm beach dyno

Car drives fine. No surging etc.

Just be aware the TB does touch the underside of the bonnet insulation.

Did you have to use an adapter?

What air intake and injector are you running?

Yeh there’s an adaptor needed as the bolt pattern is different. The Edelbrock CAI comes with the adaptor bit I didn’t know this and ordered one from Jegs.

https://www.jegs.com/i/JEGS/555/513060/10002/-1

I have the injectors that come with the kit.
But also have a JMS BAP. Currently at 640whp

Injectors are the same as 13/14 GT500.

I'm already stage 1. I would love a cheaper kit for us early adopters that don't want 8 rib and want a tune other than the Edelbrock but also want the throttle and intake. Perhaps I justed missed it but I didn't see the intake for sell on their website. Just the throttle body.

I did see the 15-17 CAI but nothing on the 18-19. I guess there is no reason any CAI plus the Eddy TB or 350 TB can't be used as long as it is similar size to the stock elbow and the tuner is willing. I wonder if the 103mm TB is worth the extra money over the 87mm. Does Lund or PBD tune the 103mm?

It's bad enough the TB is $800!
I guess I will just have to Frankenstein something.
Back when I got it they were shouting "Easily upgraded to stage 2!" I just didn't realize it would be 50% of the cost for the whole kit. Love the blower though and would still get it again, just at stage 2 from the beginning.

I'm happy with my stage 1, especially that I got it for 5k. With that said, theres no way in hell I'd spend the $ for stage 2 upgrade. Hopefully Edelbrock smells the roses and brings the upgrade components down to reality.

They should at least make one without the 8 rib. Who would want to pulley down on a stock motor with such high compression? I haven't seen anyone complaining of belt slip on the stage 1 pulleys. It seems like an unnecessary expense.

I have a 15 with just a 2300 and the only reason I'm looking to up grade is the mid range, it's completely dead. I'm very happy with the amount of full throttle power out of the stage 1 kit, it's plenty for the street!

I know everyone thinks its VooDoo science but I put the Pedal Commander on mine and the midrange is much better. I know what it does but it really wakes the stage 1 kit up on a 2015. Just my 2 cents worth.
