So i am currently installing an Edelbrock EForce 2650 Stage 2 on my 16 Mustang Gt. Long winter where i am so i just things when i feel ambitious. So this weekend i planned to get the lions share of the install done and i put the SC on the engine. I loosely installed the bolts on the PS of the car then moved to the DS , well no bolts would line up. The SC does not move very much so no amount of finagling would allow me to install the SC. I have most everything else done at this point has anyone run across this during an install. Of course it happened Friday afternoon so no progress until at least Monday.

Out of interest, maybe try just the centre two bolts on each side (one per side) for a start and see what is actually out of alignment and where.
I recall mine being a pretty tight squeeze but nothing like what you’re showing here.

Also worth checking the perimeter of the blower itself for any points of contact with the heads.
Edelbrock machine the edges for fit, maybe they missed a spot or something else is touching?

Thanx for the replies fella's . I tried multiple bolt scenario's with no luck. I am going to go grab my bore scope tomorrow from work since actually seeing down there is close to impossible. The camera angle may be distorting the severity of the misalignment. With just 2 bolts installed on PS the blower barely moves. I hope they have a resolution since this thing shipped from summit and i live in the Yukon in Canada.

Couple pics from my borescope ,this is with 2 bolts in the PS one front and one rear. The misalignment is pathetic.

Have you reached out to Edelbrock about it?

Yes, like i said just seeing if anyone else has dealt with this issue. This is very disappointing given that i waited 8 weeks to get it and i live a long way from their warehouse. It happened on a friday and was motivated since i had a 3 day weekend, surely they have inspectors that take measurements. We are suppose to be living in an age of CNC and computers with deadly accuracy. Long way to ship something this messed up. Also it was 11g canadain so no small sum and i should not have to be modifying it. It appears this is last years model since the new onces have a larger inlet that comes with a modular adapter and a 103mm TB

get the bolt started with a few threads then try and move the blower around, it's heavy AF so you do need to lift it, you won't be able to slide it while it's weight is on the heads. Don't think anyone has had any issues with this before, the holes are all oversized a little so you should be able to find a middle ground where they all fit

Yup did all that,i even have some lube on there as well to make it move easier it just aint right and even it i get it in place i am concerned about the belt alignment. I have been a mechanic for quite a long time and i can tell you this isnt right and messing with it when its out of alignment is going to upset the front pulley. The bolts are thinner on the shaft portion so i have even tried getting them down so the threads are into the head and still no joy and i do have a fair amount of movement. Dont get me wrong i appreciate all and any input but at this point i am stuck waiting for Edelbrock to do something. Honestly when you call and the guy in charge has gone home early and doesnt have the decency to check his emails says a lot about the company. My bro inlaw is a computer support tech for a big company and he answers 7 days a week day or night.

So after much thought i realized that the runners for the SC are bolted to the main housing and i suspect that maybe the 4000 plus mile trip may have cause this misalignment. You know how careful trucking and freight companies are with your stuff and it did after all come in a cardboard box strapped to a pallet. Will confer with Edelbrock but this looks to be the solution.

That’s exactly what I had to do. Even with it all lined up “perfectly” the bolts were still a fairly tight fit. It’s a two man job for sure.
If I recall correctly, we started on a corner, then went to the opposite corner, repeat. Once all four corners were done, the rest was a lot easier, but still required some wriggling.

Mine lined up a bit tight but was able to get all the bolts started. If you have access to a lathe you could turn some clearance into the bolts or drill out the holes in the supercharger.

You can replace the runners on that side if it’s warped .
When I sold and shipped my 2.3 , it was banged up by the time they delivered it and the bolt hole one one side had snapped off .

I don’t blame buyer but of course he refused it so it was shipped back to me .

Edelbrock sent me another runner to replace the one with the broken bolt hole and it’s as good now (I hope )
