Lets just say if i had a police pushbar mounted in the front of my stang, he would have been kicked to the curb! For those of you waiting to see what blower to install, i can vouch that my stage 2 Edelbrock rocks. Running 100% stock car otherwise and using Edelbrock 91 tune. Plenty for me and my type of driving. For those of you track/ strip monsters wanting more, you are able to add lots more power with supporting mods. Anyone in Bay Area Ca welcome fo hit me up for a ride. Stop waiting, do the install!

I have the 2300 EForce on my 2015 Performance Pack GT. Last weekend I pushed and pulled around a Hellcat Charger on the interstate. We were already going at speed when he decided to leave me behind. Guess who got surprised? He gave me the thumbs up when he finally caught up! Love this thing!

Yup! 50 state emissions legal, almost same fuel economy, good driveability. But when you bury your right foot hold on!

Well a Charger is only a 126/127 trap car, which is not that far off from a N/A 10 speed mustang on E85 that traps 123/124.

Now when you start changing pullies on that 6.2L motor and large twin screw supercharger, then they become really quick really fast. I should know I had one trapping 140+ with the barest of mods, just a lower pulley and tune. All this on a full sized sedan with 4 doors and room for two full sized adults in the back. Yeah a boosted Mustang can beat it, but it's still a Mustang lol.

How is it with your 3.73's?

First is short as expected but not unlivable. 3:55 would probably be better but as a daily driver the 3:73 is not as bad as i expected.

I never use 1st gear so it's not like i'll be missing anything on that front. BUT, if i have to go to 4th before i get traction - that would be a problem.

I can still burn rubber in 2nd and even 3rd a little but you just have to relearn how to drive it with all the new found power. I have nothing negative to say about the kit, I'm not the fastest around but I am so much better than the average GT and that puts me just where I wanted to be!

Thanks - i'm not worried about the kit, as the 2650 is solid and exactly what i am looking for as far as mega torque early on. Just looking for insight as to how the 3.73's are when supercharged. I imagine it will be tons of fun once relearned. Another dilema will be whether or not to let the wife drive it.

It's still a Mustang lol.

My Cobra Jet A10 Mustang on E85 will beat a stock Hellcat Charger now, but so what? The charger is a much more comfortable, bigger vehicle with room for four full sized adults. A fully optioned PP Mustang doesn't have half the technology and comforts of a standard Hellcat charger. And it has a much more intelligent traction control system. Only Mustangs do you have to turn off traction control completely in order to stop the computer from closing the throttle body after a simple shift. Maybe that's why the Mustang has a reputation for being crowd killers? It doesn't take much to get a boosted Mustang to trap in the 140's. It takes even less for a Hellcat charger. Just a pulley swap and tune. Don't even have to touch anything else, not even the exhaust.

Of course I'm biased because I owned one, but that's precisely why my point has more relevance. Having owned both cars, I can say a Mustang is a great bang for buck car that can be modded to beat alot of cars on the road, especially all motor. You can beat pretty much anything on the road with appropriate mods, but at the end of the day it's still a Mustang. Let's not pretend it's anything higher class. I'm sure after you beat an M5 on the highway, that driver would still rather be in his M5 and not a Mustang, because he bought that M5 for a reason. Just like I bought the Mustang for a reason, after the Hellcat I decided to get the cheapest platform that's easiest to mod insanely fast.... the 10 Speed Mustang GT.

It’s just a charger lol.

I didn’t buy the Mustang as a family car lol. I bought it because I like it and I get more satisfaction knowing my car is definitely faster than some higher end cars.I have my limited full size suv for comfort and safety features. I don’t care about M5, Challenger hellcat, etc.. because that’s what y’all like and I don’t care because that’s none of my business. At the end of the day, you like yours and I like mine.

Yea. Gotta agree... only a Charger... only a mustang. Hell, only a Porsche.

It’s an individual thing. You like what you like. There’s really only a handful of cars out there that I go “WOW!”

I learned a long time ago that no matter how fast you are, there’s always someone faster.

“Thickest wallet wins!”

I must of drove hellcats 10 different times. Almost pulled the trigger and traded the Mustang til my wife stopped me. The Mustang is paid for. So adding boost was a 10 grand investment. Vs a 65k investment. Does a hellcat do anything better than a boosted Mustang? I like both cars. But car prices are borderline insane anymore. Especially the higher end models.
