The PP was a no brainer--my only complaint is since I added the 50th ann pkg I still paid full pop for both options and didn't get the 50th ann wheels.

Not sure if those wheels clear the 4 Pistons of the PP, but non the less, I agree, you should have at least got some sort of wheel credit.....

Sounds like you're stang is my clone. I don't think the 50th wheels would have an issue clearing the brakes because they are the same size wheels as the ones on the 50th LE cars and you can get the PP brembos on them

Performance wheels were the thing that mainly made me spring for the performance pack. I love the way they look lowered with sportlines as pictured below.

This is HTX's car here on the forums im gonna be doing the sm exact thing with the white lettering and sportline springs except on magnetic. I was gonna do the prokit but the sportlines sit perfect in my opinion.

I wish they would offer the PP wheels in a slightly wider size. Or if the aftermarket would make a clone in say 19x10. That would be perfect stance wise.

19x10 is only an inch lol but i see what you mean cause 10" width is like that wide wheel starting point. With these wheels though you would only notice from the rear. Im not saying i love these wheels to death but I can see them holding me off from buying aftermarket wheels for a while.

My first Eco boost was a base model 6 speed, my second Eco boost is a premium with performance pack in a auto and I love it. It's a night and day difference with the two different setups. It is worth every penny and more

I didn't drive the ecoboost without the PP but I did drive the V6 without it and it felt kind of wobbly and the brakes were no where near as good as the PPs. I have never felt the $2K was ill spent. Better tires, better suspension, more aggressive gearing, and the gauges look nice too.

I have the pp and haven't driven a non pp Mustang....but....
My only complaint: an obscenely harsh ride on the shit roads in Lincoln, and the wheels seem to seek out curbing.

All of that is negated when I fly into a corner with too much speed and the car just STICKS. Or I get the car up to 130 and realize I should be going 60 and I hit the brakes and the car scrubs speed like no other car I've driven before.
For me, the brakes alone are worth it. The pp allows me to delay upgrades and it's all properly engineered factory stuff. Well worth it.

The weird thing is that I like the stiffer bouncing ride, makes it feel a little aftermarket

I'm used to driving old cars and my trucks, like my 92 Bronco, so ride quality has never been a huge deal anyways for me. And the stupidly high handling limits of the car more than make up for it. I bet the wheels and tires play a big part of it, as there's almost no sidewall to speak of, so not much you can do about that.

Can't wait to track this thing. There's a road course nearby that occasionally has a "run what ya brung" day and while I'm sure a lot of the big V8 guys could gain on me in the straights, once I learn the limits of the car's grip and brakes and suspension I bet it'll be hilarious to pass them in every corner. I've driven well set up Fox bodies and SN95 stangs and even with r compound tires at the end of the day the chassis itself was still mushy by comparison to the S550 and even crazy aftermarket brakes tended to have less theoretical mechanical stopping power unless they cost more than the entire car was worth.

We'll see, I guess.

I agree. Even on MI roads, it's not terrible at all.

Prior to this I had a '14 with BMR springs and Koni shocks and struts. The '15 still rides better, and handles better.

It is firm but not jarring.

Handles like it's on rails!

No PP package for me - and NO regrets. Just my personal input below:

Upsized rear sway bar (Fastback only) Going with Aftermarket
• Unique chassis tuning :)
• Larger brake rotors with 4-piston calipers - Overkill for a street car (racing fluid plus good track pads will do the job at the track if needed)
• Unique 19” x 9” Ebony Black aluminum wheels (bought GT PP brand new wheels/tires for $900, sold 17" for 500$)
• 255/40R19 Summer Only Tires (GT wheels)
• Unique EPAS, ABS and stability control tuning Hmm :)
• Instrument panel appliques are Aluminum Ehh.
• Interior gauge pack (oil pressure and boost) Ehh. Cobb is a much better tool
• 3.55 limited-slip rear axle 3.15 is not a huge deal to me- plus few tuners already mentioned that 3.15 is good, if not better choice for ecoboost (drag strip results)
• Larger radiator Not critical at all
• Heavy-duty front spring (Fastback only) Would swap with Steeda (done already)
• Spoiler delete - Like my oxford white with painted black spoiler.
