I bought the Tire Rack 18" Sport Edition F10 with Goodyear Ultra Grip ICE WRT. Total was like $1350 after rebates and shipping
Got those tires as well. You can also do sub $1000 shipped if you don't get the tires mounted at tirerack and skip the TPMS. I came out to just about $1075 including a local mount and balance. Bought the wheels at discounttiredirect though. Rage R20 wheels.

BTW, saw the plastidip job. Hit them with a few coats of glossifier so the finish looks great and lasts much longer. Depending on how many coats you can either end up with a nice satin, or glossy appearance.

Yep. It's pretty bad, but the picture makes it look worse than it is due to the lighting and incline.

If I went with the 235/50s that I was originally considering it would look a bit better, but I decided they weren't necessary.

It always amazes me when people drive around with these tiny ass wheels for almost half a year just because it's winter.

You can get perfectly good winter tires in 19 or 20" as well so why make your car look like crap?
Cost for one. Size for another. Running 17" or 18" for snow tires gives you more sidewall and a narrower width, which is helpful in snowy conditions. They may not look great, but its about practicality.

Renner, did you have the tires removed before you painted the rims ?

No I used plastdip not paint and index cards around the rim to avoid spraying the tire...not needed just easier clean up

Are index cards a lot easier than taping/masking?

Hey guys, can anyone with the performance pack tell me the amount of spoke clearance needed to fit the brakes? I can't fine the width of those brakes so I'm worried my winter rims won't fit.

Basically a measurement from the mating face of the rotor/rim, to the widest part of the brake near the spokes.
