I’m looking for someone that has that map turbo kit that wants to trade their catted downpipe for my non catted downpipe. If anyone’s interested hmu
Looking to find someone within Texas that would like to trade your rear MBRP Street mufflers with my Race mufflers. Nothing is wrong with them i just want my exhaust to be a little quieter. If you have mbrp and wanna go loud with out spending extra money lets make a trade. I'm located in San...
Happened to my mishi downpipe too Not even going to bother amailing them hearing all of your stories. I'm just going to get it rewelded on and sell it.
If you end up fabbing a mount I'll gladly throw you some money to duplicate one for me. I pieced together a oil cooler with thermo sandwich plate for about 250 but I had no idea on how to mount it to make it look professional. (I can't weld)
Finally more people are building the ecoboost to be more than a 1/4 mile car. I'm building my car to slide/grip don't really care about 1/4 TBH so this is great to see. Do you plan on adding an oil cooler?
You must not know how to tighten t-bolt clamps because I'm going on 5 month and no pop offs/leaks no bead rolls just aluminum piping. T-bolt clamps are kind of tricky because if you over tighten them they will pop, but once you have broken a couple you know their threshold. It's a lot more than...
Yeah It does make a difference lol. I remember installing my Race with catted downpipe and thinking why does it dound so loud inside? After i installed my subwoofer and unplugged that mic I noticed there was far less resonance in the cabin mainly at about 2-3.5k rpms.
I wanted to do this too but after I looked under the car and noticed the s pipe going from the muffler to the tip I basically said forget it because the tips would be sticking out way too much.
I made my own chargepipes from eBay and the sections I cut aren't bead rolled. I'm on a e30 tune pushed every time I drive hitting full boost and I've had 0 problems after tightening my t-bolt clamps down good. I did however use good couplers though.
Its prett yeasy to build an oil cooler setup. Get the correcet fitting oil sandwich plate (thermo or non thermo) and use the correct hose and fittings for the sandwich plate. All thats left to do is fab up a mounting bracket, oh and the oil cooler of course lol.
I'm rockin the mishi catted dp and Mbrp street with a vibrant ultra quiet resonator in place of the step down to make it a true full 3" turbo back and it it's really deep. Unfortunately with deep comes drone :(
