E85 no tune

Lambda is lambda regardless of what fuel. If you're targeting to a lambda reading, changing fuel to something like E30 will require more fuel to reach the same lambda. . So you should see an increase in injector duty cycle. Ford trims the fuel 0-15% (E0-E15). Therefore, running E30 it'll be running lean at WOT.

So wild horse you seem pretty knowledgeable so your saying I should just go back to the regular 91 octane? I'm still on that first tank and still had a 1/4 tank of 91. You think I'm ok?

You have 16 injectors. You're more than OK. But yeah, I'd go back to 91. If you wanna experiment with ethanol, get a flex tune from LUND. You can't go wrong there buddy

I put 7 gallons to a full tank of what probably is E50 and my data logs look perfect.

I suppose I could post one. I would not be scared of 1.5 gallons of true e85 in MY car. It is adding timing, it is adding 5 plus everywhere, it is holding lambda and it is running .85 at WOT. It is running so much better that I ordered a flex tune.

I have a Lund tune in my truck, it is a good runner. I will no longer deal with his company simply because I like to use the phone. I got that tune when his company number was public.

It was 7 gallons of pump E85 to a full tank of 93 Costco E10

That is what the logs say .85 that is. The car shows 12. something on the dash display. It is calibrated for E10 because it also shows 14.0 at idle.

No issues, it runs like a top.

my car on E30 stock tune dips to the mid-low 11s range AFR at WOT and i saw it dip below 11 once too

I’d like to see you go to zero miles to empty and fill with E85 at least before you tune it

Lund can probably answer 30 emails faster than he could sit and discuss with 1 customer on the phone. Plus with email there is a paper trail on all convos. No need in having a phone ringing off the hook

I wanted to see what the stock computer is capable of. I did an experiment and gave my results. I am being bashed for even trying it, and now I'm being told I'm a fool for wanting to talk with a business before I give them my money. Had I found Lunds number and talked with him he would have gotten my order for a flex tune. It's my choice who I do business with and same for ones I will not.
