Bama E85 tune

Its best to test this tunes same day same track same car. This is a very dificult question the OP has. Please OP get the lund tune and compare them yourself i did this with an evo8 i used to have asked the same question no one helped me so i got both tunes tested them and gave out the results.

I'm sorry... Where did I state that? I said Lund > Bama. The vast majority of the forum here would (and has) agreed. I have never said that for Lund to be great everyone else has to be bad. In fact... I have a Steeda tune!

You're right, because videos of cars doing their runs and pictures of timeslips is the "LEAST" reliable means of judging them...

there is no "why bama" you havent read the entire thread or even my OP it seems. I really like Lund i love what they do. Ive never had a problem with bama. It makes no sense why people talk crap about them especially since paul is their new Lead tuner, even though hes not really new anymore. I dont feel like he is a bad tuner or worse than anyone else. Just because Bama isnt out tuning the Fastest mustangs in the world has nothing to do with Bama being bad. And the fastest mustangs in the world arent even running stock ECU's so i feel like that argument has always been invalid. IF Bama Runs X fast and people with Lund run the same X fast is Lund really better???? or do people just love Lund because they offer convenience and good service? which i still get both of from bama and AM. This thread has turned into a more of "this guys an idiot for having Bama and thinking their good" and "lol hes trying to compare Lund to Bama" and the good ol "Lund is better than Bama because I say so, but give no logical answer as to why" does their Ngauge or their tuning system allow or change more things than bama can do with the SCTx4? Ngauge is available to anyone (any tuner), it's not Lund's product. It's a generic gauge that Lund just uses. I can buy one and load HPTuners tunes on it, maybe that's what Lund does....

There's so much more involved in deciding which tuner to go with than basing the choice on who's got the fastest drag racing times. Yes that is a very attractive marketing tactic. consider this, If faster drag racing times is what you are after and the stock tune is enough to spin the stock tires and cause excessive wheel hop do you really need to start with getting a better tune to improve your drag strip times? There are other supporting mods that you can better spend your money on to improve your drag times. Rims/tires and half shafts for example. They aren't as cheap as a tune but if they will give you better results why not save the money for them rather than waste it on a tune. "If you lived in an apt then I have no respect for your poor financial decisions" - Higgs boson. He makes a lot of sense if you just listen and read between the lines.

So other than drag times why do you get a tune? Improve fuel mileage, high speed passing power, better feel of power delivery, maybe you have a throttle surge you don't like while doing a California rolling stop, ECT. you have to decided why you are getting a tune and then decided what tuner is going to provide you with the best experience in achieving your goal. If it is drag racing times please consider much more important mods first.
