I had to flash back to the stock tune to take the car to the dealer this morning and was running 28% ethanol on the stock tune in 30 degree weather. It ran fine at very easy throttle the 10 miles to the dealer but the AFR looked a lot leaner than I would like. I’ll be reflashing my Flex tune in the parking lot before driving home.

to our French friend, get an E85 device and stop playing with fire.

Merci SDskinner
What kind of device you use to flash your car?
Can you follow your long time fuel trim (LongFT or LTFT) Before and After flashing ?
Your values could help Me👍
My AFR still stable around 14.5.
I really wonder if there isn't a tune already installed in my baby

I wouldn’t expect that, especially with a flex tune.
You missed when I said I had to flash back to stock tune to go to the dealer and then that happened lol.

On the flex tune it’s perfect 12:1-13:1 at E50

Ok but I still wouldn’t expect it to go lean on acceleration. The fuel trims should easily handle that. There is some funny logic behind the dash aft gauge. I think it’s showing commanded lambda x stoich, and commanded lambda has fuel trims baked in.

makes sense. I didn’t data log it and won’t run it like that again so it is what it is. It did run fine though and started right up no issue.

The dash gauge is frustrating. I also believe it is some combination of factors and not really what the AFR is.

After many thousands of logs and testing, I just ignore the dash indicator. The check engine light comes on before any discrepancies in lambda.

Catch can helps with deposits too
My catch can was almost full. Looked like oil and then white stuff at the very bottom. This is after dumping it
