Just had 10.5MPG on my last cycle. However, that was with some heavy 'test' driving as this was only my 2nd ever tank on E85. 100% city. We'll see if I can do any better on this next cycle haha.

Why's nobody giving this guy a standing O for being bang on ? His math is solid, it's based on FACTS. And those of yous who say your getting 13-16 mpg on E85 in normal driving are full of shit.
What mpg do you get? And please base it on FACTS...

I haven't calculated it but I know it is way down from when I was running 91. I know it doesn't help I'm running through gears harder then I was with 91 but I was running it pretty hard when I first got it and I got better mileage. Considering how much cheaper it is I'm not worried about it.

I installed a dedicated E85 tune in June, this is what I've been averaging.

E85 City 10-12 Hwy 19-20

E93 City 18-19 Hwy 24-26

What is "normal driving" to you?

You get better fuel economy with more ethanol? Sounds off a bit.

I am still averaging around 15mpg with 50/50 city/highway. I am pretty heavy on the throttle during the city portion though.

I think he meant 93 octane and didn't mean to put the E. Those looks like very conservative 93 octane numbers.

I get 5 around town, and 17-20 on the highway with E85.

Yes, my mistake, I meant 93 octane. My commute is a 50/50 mix of highway and city (lots of stop and go traffic). I haven't done any long range highway driving on E85, 20 miles tops.

Just wondering what type of gas mileage the NA e85 tunes are getting?
There you have it. Oesman explained it in stunning detail. E85 gets worse mileage but costs less. the difference you spend I gas is fairly negligible. Don't fear the ethanol! it's completely worth it if it is available in your area. By far one of the easiest tricks for gaining real power. Call us and ask away.
