  1. Procharger Education

Except your car is going to be whining like a jet from the ProCharger sucking air at idle. You don't really get a ProCharger because you want to hide it.
  2. MK 7 VW GTI vs 2020 GT base, both manual

My "daily" is a manual 2012 Jetta GLI (MK VI) with a Unitronic stage 1. My Mustang GT is a manual PP1. I know the GTI feels a bit sportier and the VW DSG is an awesome transmission but it isn't that much different from the GLI. The Mustang obliterates the Jetta in every way possible other...
  3. Opinions on AED or TBR Garage?

Thanks for the input guys. I will have to get in touch with AED and see what they can do for me. I should have mentioned car is already on a PBD flex fuel tune and there are a few pretty good Propel stations here in the Sacramento area so good gas shouldn't be much of a problem. I was leaning...
  4. Opinions on AED or TBR Garage?

I'm in the Sacramento area and looking to boost my Mustang in the near future. Nothing crazy, 650-700 since it is primarily a street car. Looking to at least have a shop do OPG/CS and depending on how much it would cost to install and tune maybe just let them do everything. Leaning towards...
  5. Lund Tune N/A Worth it?

I have PBD (same difference really), and on the "stock/91" data logging tune I didn't really feel much of a difference. Didn't really get on it but it didn't seem to be there really. It was a marked difference when I switched over to the flex fuel tune (~E80 according to the nGuage). Even on...
  6. Coyote 3 Oil Catch Can

I ditched my engine cover. The 18+ cover just looks horrible.
  7. P0300 and P0316 After PBD Base Tune

Are you sure your gas is good? When I was doing my initial pulls on my 91 tune the car was pulling timing in the higher RPMs. I got 91 at the same place for almost a year and I never noticed any issues with the stock tune. Didn't have the tuner so maybe the car had been pulling timing the...
  8. So, has everyone made peace with the 2K rattle?

Never really heard it on mine. But I always have the radio on and the windows down (except when the state is on fire) so a lot of noise is covered up. Now the typerwriter tick, that's a different story. Guess I've made peace with that one.
  9. E85 gas mileage?

I haven't calculated it but I know it is way down from when I was running 91. I know it doesn't help I'm running through gears harder then I was with 91 but I was running it pretty hard when I first got it and I got better mileage. Considering how much cheaper it is I'm not worried about it.
