My 19 PP1 300a(no drag mode) has been running 11.9's all winter. Stock other than Roush catback & MT dr's on cheap AM 17's so not completely stock but almost. The dr's are more for "insurance" than an advantage being on the stock tune, well on mine atleast being a PP1 the Michelin PS4S do pretty well at the track. Da in the winter here in south LOWSYana is normally 0 or below on track nights though so that helps quite a bit. The car runs 12.2's in the summer at 2000 da. A base car can run 11.9's in good air.A base 300A car is lighter and might make up a bit for not having drag mode. Also on street tires, drag mode can be a disadvantage unless the track is VERY sticky. I have never seen a 300A car run 11s at my track unless they were tuned. Not saying that they haven't done it elsewhere. I have run back to back using normal mode vs drag mode on my heavy 401A car and the difference is a little more than 2 tenths with DRs However, to use drag mode, you better have drag radials or the 1-2 and 2-3 shifts will put you in wheelspin and or wheel hop city. The shifts are that brutal.
Tuned 300a cars in which sport mode is the drag mode are probably the quickest of all.
