YOU control the drag mode.... Make it happen.

Not faster than mine mod for mod....;). Show me tuned 370z running 11’s @ 122 mph on factory tires @ 1500’ elevation. ;).A lot of things are faster than a GT. The 370Z is faster.
The 370Z has better handling, no doubt. All that power doesn't help with exit speed. Not faster than mine mod for mod....;). Show me tuned 370z running 11’s @ 122 mph on factory tires @ 1500’ elevation. ;).
And NO, you do not have drag mode on your 16 GT manual. Lol. I think you need some help getting your facts/data straight.
Now my monitor is wet from spitting out my water while reading this.A lot of things are faster than a GT. The 370Z is faster.
The lie detector determined that was false. Now my monitor is wet from spitting out my water while reading this.
Having a one year generation would not be profitable for the company and hell on aftermarket parts. It's one of the few true roadsters left.370Z. LOL. That platform should have been scrapped 10 years ago. Great little engine though.
A base 300A car is lighter and might make up a bit for not having drag mode. Also on street tires, drag mode can be a disadvantage unless the track is VERY sticky. I have never seen a 300A car run 11s at my track unless they were tuned. Not saying that they haven't done it elsewhere. I have run back to back using normal mode vs drag mode on my heavy 401A car and the difference is a little more than 2 tenths with DRs However, to use drag mode, you better have drag radials or the 1-2 and 2-3 shifts will put you in wheelspin and or wheel hop city. The shifts are that brutal.Listen, drag mode is not the end all be all for this car and the strip. There are several videos on the boobtube of people running 11.9 with a base 300a.. On street tires nonetheless.. Very few people, drag mode or not, are going to run an 11.9 bone stock with this car...
My best time with street tires and a 2.0 60' was a 12.7 at 113mph...
19" drag radials would shave 0.5 alone.. (or more)

Getting out pretty good and then spinning on the 3/4 shift? Never heard of an auto running a 12.7. 2.0 sixty should produce a lie 12, so should 113 trap

That'd be fun to see.Do you run your car in phoenix? When you do, let me know and we can race same day same time... Otherwise, have a nice day.
