Hello everyone,
I took my car out yesterday to record some times before the weather gets too cold. Prior to having the Steeda stop the hop starter kit installed, I would use drag mode, hold the brake, push the gas to the floor, and let go of the break to launch the car. Wheels would spin off the line (I am aware of the drag/launching limitations of the stock wheels and PS4S tires) but then would hook and go through the gears just fine and the car would stay straight. Since having the stop the hop kit installed, I am unable to launch the car properly in drag mode as the brakes can't seem to hold the car back and the wheels will spin before letting off the brake when trying to launch using the above method. This of course led to some bad times. Also, I am getting wheel spin at each shift along with the rear end stepping out a little, also at each shift. Launching in track mode corrects most of this and leads to better times. Any ideas why this is happening in drag mode?
Car is a 19 GT premium automatic with PP1, MagneRide, active exhaust, FP calibration with intake and throttle body, FP MagneRide handling kit (springs, sway bars) with calibration, Steeda stop the hop street starter kit, Borla S Type active exhaust. Rear PS4S tires have between 5 and 6/32 of tread left, 14,500 miles on them. Cold pressures on the rear tires were 26psi and it was around 60 degrees outside. Picture from most recent alignment is below. The only thing that jumps out to me is the difference in rear camber between left and right side.
