Not going to make any difference.Should I air up my front tires? (stock pp1 wheel, 245/45/19 indy firehawks)
Finally, someone, who understands what @GL95 doesn’t. I didn’t even go into detail about all of the other variables that come into play when preparing to send a Gen. 3 down the strip either. The 5 seconds it takes to fully disable yaw and traction control is an eternity when you're staging. I can see where $130 to bypass it in an instant and get on with your checklist would be beneficial. If you can't, then don't get it and go on with your bad self.
Please post your results after. I have a similar combo and curious how much improvement you gained.Heading back to the strip tomorrow.
Trying to beat 12.4003 from last year with anew 91 oct tune and kooks catted headers.
From what I have gathered Drag mode, shifter in "D" when the car goes into the Drag mode I notice the traction control goes off, do I toggle it again to get Advanced traction control off? Or does Drag mode automatically take advanced off?
I air down my nitto 555r2's (305/45/17 on vms 17x10) to 22PSI hot. I will continue to play around with rear PSI to avoid spinning out the box while not sacrificing tap speed. I warm them up prior.

Car is 2018 10r80 5.0 PP1
Thanks everyone!
Sit in the lanes for 20 minutes "oh shit I better do all this now that I'm staging, including hitting my new button that does the same thing my old button did"Finally, someone, who understands what @GL95 doesn’t. Enough said, we can now let ole boy go back to sleeping well.
Advance track does nothing in a straight lineThe 5 seconds it takes to fully disable yaw and traction control is an eternity when you're staging. Doesn't suit you? Don't buy it and go on about your life.Advance track does nothing in a straight line
Nah, I'd rather save other people from wasting their money on a useless product. What does that do that your current switch does not? Nothing.Doesn't suit you? Don't buy it and go on about your life.
beat last years time of 12.400 with the addition of kooks catted headers and a 91 Oct tune from Wegnered Performance. Please post your results after. I have a similar combo and curious how much improvement you gained.
I agree with this ^^.Your launch (1.8x) is keeping you out of the 11's right now
Good run and nice improvement in et. Why is the trap speed low?beat last years time of 12.400 with the addition of kooks catted headers and a 91 Oct tune from Wegnered Performance.

Stock PP1 front wheels with 245/45/19 firehawk Indy 500s
Nitto 555rii 305/45/17
Corsa extreme exhaust
Kooks 1 7/8 “ catted headers
28* c outside temp
Prepped track that was pretty beat up when I ran the time
20psi hot in the nittos
35psi hot in firehawks
Decent size burn out.
10r80 trans in “D”
Drag mode in car
I did not turn off the traction control and just left it in drag mode “d”
on the very aggressive shifts I was breaking loose and spinning a tiny bit.
a new tire that is more aggressive than the nitro 555r2s should have me in 11’s
sure! Best to the left worst on the right.I agree with this ^^.
There is a guy at my local track with an A10 car that has all of the bolt-ons (minus cams) and he runs 11.70s @ 121-122 mph consistently on 1.7-1.8 sixties with a drag radial.
It is quite the challenge to cut good sixties NA in these cars, especially with the MT82-D4 tranny. It takes much more power to make up the difference and touch 11s. Now the A10s get it done and I’m not mad at that.
OP, I know you have an auto and I have a manual, but will you please post your timeslips for comparison purposes? Here are a few NA slips of mine (on E85)
