Heading back to the strip tomorrow.

Trying to beat 12.4003 from last year with anew 91 oct tune and kooks catted headers.

From what I have gathered Drag mode, shifter in "D" when the car goes into the Drag mode I notice the traction control goes off, do I toggle it again to get Advanced traction control off? Or does Drag mode automatically take advanced off?

I air down my nitto 555r2's (305/45/17 on vms 17x10) to 22PSI hot. I will continue to play around with rear PSI to avoid spinning out the box while not sacrificing tap speed. I warm them up prior.

Should I air up my front tires? (stock pp1 wheel, 245/45/19 indy firehawks)

Car is 2018 10r80 5.0 PP1

Thanks everyone!

It’s still enabled in drag mode just in limited fashion. Hold the toggle for 3-5 seconds to fully disable if that’s what you’re going for.

Just unplug the Nanny plug under the hood next to the air box. Then you won’t have to remember to hold any buttons down, as that will turn all of it off.

Note: It will also disable the use of the factory line lock, so if you need to perform a burnout, you will have to power brake the car.

I hear you. It’s not a hairy ride (or unsafe feeling at all) with it unplugged. I‘ve ran mine with it unplugged several times at the drag strip.

Now I have the 580Performance bypass kit that does the same thing as unplugging it, with just the push of a button that I mounted on the right side of my steering column.

What is the point in unplugging it just Click the button, and I really don't see why waste $130

Because in my car, I have several extra steps to implement, so the less I have to do, the less likely I am to forget a step. It also allows me to still use my factory line lock and perform a good burnout, after which I then press the bypass button and instantly disable all Nannies. I no longer have to hold the factory toggle switch for 10 seconds or so to disable it.

Here are the steps that I need to perform in order to launch NA. There are even more steps to this list when I use nitrous.

Prelaunch checklist
  1. Turn off TC and Adv. Trac
  2. Pull into water box
  3. Dump clutch and dust off tires (stopping short of staging beams)
  4. Arm Hitmaster
  5. Pre-stage, wait for opponent and stage
  6. Grab and press 1st stage trigger button with right hand
  7. Depress clutch, put car on 2 step and release clutch and trigger button
  8. Successful launch
FYI, the factory Nanny plug can be modified to achieve the same thing that I spent $130 on, for just the cost of wire and a switch.

I didn’t know if this was possible before having the bypass kit in hand, but now I do, so this can help the next person that may want to do this mod on the cheap.

So the same thing as everyone else, waste of
Money

Not to mention there is already a switch that does the same thing

I can sense the rudeness in your comment and TBH, I don’t see how it’s helpful to anyone either. With that being said, feel free to see it however you wish my friend. This particular mod happens to serve a real purpose for me. Others may also find it to be a benefit to them.

You just haven't added anything yet that makes adding a 2nd switch to do the same thing as the first switch make sense. I don't care if you think I'm rude, I'll sleep fine tonight

The 5 seconds it takes to fully disable yaw and traction control is an eternity when you're staging. I can see where $130 to bypass it in an instant and get on with your checklist would be beneficial. If you can't, then don't get it and go on with your bad self.
