If it makes you feel any better, it's not actually leather. I just wipe it down when i clean the interior which is like twice a year lol.

I use these, as they are dual purpose for trying to drive and exceptional when faced with road rage. The problem is, accessing my trigger finger with them on.

I also thought I didn't need to clean and condition the leather, until I began doing it.Why ? my leather looks great. I’ve got more important stuff to do then clean and condition leather on a 8 year old car that don’t need it
Do it Peter lolI'm very tempted to colour coordinate, and get myself a pair of these ...

I took my Mustang out yesterday for a ride. I was so excited to drive it I forgot to look to see if the Leather needed cleaning and conditioning. Maybe someday I’ll look. I do remember looking around and thinking this car is awesomeI also thought I didn't need to clean and condition the leather, until I began doing it.
Everybody sees the things in a different way and everybody has a different way and intensity in caring things. An 8 years old car for sure it needs the upholstery to be cleaned and conditioned, but nobody is forcing you to do it.
I made my first attempt at cleaning the Alcantara. It didn't come out so good.Mechanix gloves. The camo pattern has surprisingly good grip on the alcantera. Better than the black grip gloves.
I wear gloves because I hate cleaning the alcantera.
It's not fun. Sonax and Jay Lenos stuff work really well. Just a time consuming process to go over and over.I made my first attempt at cleaning the Alcantara. It didn't come out so good.
I'm using Sonax. I need to give it another go. I used a microfiber cloth to work it into the fibers. But I only made one pass. Time to look up some videos. It's not fun. Sonax and Jay Lenos stuff work really well. Just a time consuming process to go over and over.
Horsehair brush in a circular motion worked well for me.I'm using Sonax. I need to give it another go. I used a microfiber cloth to work it into the fibers. But I only made one pass. Time to look up some videos.
I've got the Sonax detail brush which should be mild enough to work. Did you end restoring the really matted down areas? The first pass it didn't make any difference for me. I may not have given it enough time to sit or agitated the fibers enough.Horsehair brush in a circular motion worked well for me.

That's what I use. Works awesome. Then use a microfiber and softly squeeze the wheel to pull out all the liquid and oil.
Yeah it's all coming up. I sprayed it, worked it in, then dabbed it to pull the oil out every 5-10 minutes for 3 hours.I've got the Sonax detail brush which should be mild enough to work.
