Sport mode actually does rev match in manual better so my high rpm shift are smoother
Also Track mode doesn't disable advance trac but disable traction control.

Why would you street driving in sport mode anyway. I find normal mode very smooth and comfortable on the street.
Sport is too jerky.
Because I want to? :shrug:

I flip to track mode every time I drive the car...I hold the traction button down to turn off advancetrac...I do this every time I get in the car, without even thinking most of the time...this is actually a bad habit - I did a couple 360s in my 2014 GT by absent mindedly disabling traction control at the gas station, and then SLOWLY pulling out on to the highway in the pouring rain...2015 is less likely to slide around due to the IRS in my opinion, but still...having everything default to "off" could be an issue in bad weather...and like what was said earlier, is flipping a couple switches that hard?

Imagine;

You're a fighter pilot, on the deck of a Nimitz class carrier.

Your "plane" is pre-flighted on the deck, you start checking all your settings and switches. The Reds are out there, and you're going into air-combat to save 'Merica.

Temps and pressures; in the green.
Flying mode; Sport + engaged.
Tire pressures; all correct.

The flight deck director gives you a thumbs-up, which you return in reply.

Then.....

WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSH!!!! as you're catapulted off the deck, into the clear blue sky, your air-search radar on, desperately sniffing for the Bears and Fox Trots you must stop. All of America depends on you, everything is on the line!!!

And you stop at 7-11 and get your coffee; Mission accomplished.

Honestly I don't like them, makes it more difficult to get to know your car really well. Drivers need to know the limits of their cars and learn their own limits while driving under all different kinds of conditions. :cool:

Yes the different modes help with different steering & throttle feel for different driving conditions - some people like that, some don't.

:cheers:

Sport is too jerky.

Only jerky without the proper tune

??? Only mode I drive in is Track, rest is somewhat useless (Sport + is similar in terms of throttle mapping but see no reason to use it).

Only exception is for real deep snow - which never happens and for which I have winter tires - then Normal.

Being able to save defaults somehow would be really nice. Newer aircraft allow you to mission plan your default settings and carry them out to the jet with you. Even so, starting up is remarkably tedious. Generally speaking you have to turn everything on one at a time - INS, RADAR, comm 1/2, RADALT, FLIR, IFF, EW, dispenser, etc. then check BIT, change settings. Having default start up is a good thing.

What does TC have to do with anything. They cars still get sideways with them turned on. It changes throttle responses which seems to be enough change for Mustang owners to wreck a car.
so drivers will run into a tree due to increased throttle response? It is a minor difference if that. Have never had the car "get sideways" with Sport+ and i push it hard. It will "get sideways" if you give it gas on a turn irregardless if its in Sport mode or Normal mode

Anyone with an Automatic;

do you feel a difference with the shifter in Sport and Normal mode than when it is in D and Sport+?
