Might be a wild one, but I don't use them, mainly because I try to keep as little stuff as possible from blocking my inputs to things, idk this kind of became a thing when I was in Japan and was barefoot while doing a shit ton of activities. Now I have too many minimalist shoes and only wear gloves if its closing into subzero temps and I know I'll be outside exposed for a long time.

Or maybe I'm just like causing harm to myself every time I touched my shifter this past summer

I don’t wear gloves for daily driving, but I do find that I need a set of gloves for hot summer HPDE days. For those days, I use Sparco Hypergrip+ gloves. They are actually made for gaming/sim-racing, but I find them comfortable, light, very breathable, and grippy on my leather GT Premium steering wheel.
