The horn honk is in the BCM. I wouldn't think ForScan would care if the car has a tune. My Cobb tune doesn't affect ForScan. I've made many changes with the Stage1 tune and a few after the Stage2 was applied.

Is ForScan not willing to proceed?

This is where I got stuck, apparently it cant identify the vehicle because custom tune. I guess I could try entering my current tunes name, or look up the PCM code.

Easy work around. Hold the FOB near the center top of the rear window ( touching the window), close the door, wait 1 second, pull the FOB away, no honk. Lock the car if you need to.

One of the problems I see with disabling the double horn honk is that if by chance you leave the fob in the car and try to lock the door it wont be able to notify you that the car isn't locked. I'd rather just put up with the few times that it is annoying.

That's not how it works at all.

I tried putting my tune name in and that didnt work. I included the .ENC though, I may try again without that. If not I have to get into my engine bay and pull back a cover blocking the computer part number and enter that I think.

Anyone else have any ideas of what youd like to change with forscan?

I would like a proximity lock feature where if you walk far enough away from the car with the key FOB the car automatically locks.
Also I think it would be nice if windows rolled up automatically if you hold the lock button down long enough on the key fob.

Anyone know if either of those are possible?

that would require me to stop, unclip my fob from my belt when I just want to get out and close the damn garage gate and taking the time to slowly close my door to 1 click when it’s raining gets annoying and extra wet

Its possible, I did it to my 2018 mustang using forscan . Its not very hard using forscan, you should be able to do it.

Scroll down to the double honk reminder
Can you share again? I have to reprogram. Somehow I had messed up my hazards.
