Just in case you haven't found out how to bypass this.

I went to: https://www.etis.ford.com/vehicleRegSelector.do and entered my VIN.

Then clicked on VIEW PTI INFORMATION and from there I clicked the dropdown menu for PTI related electronic control units installed on this VIN and it was the code under the PCM SoftwarePartNo
Which number would it be?

Mystery solved. I found the URL for the PTI info page in a search and it contained the VIN, so I plugged my VIN in and got a page explaining why:

PTI Information

This vehicle was built before 20th May 2018, PTI Info available for vehicle build on or after 20th May 2018
