I just received the kit and I wasn't sure if I'd absolutely need to get an alignment done after this install. I plan on ordering a FP track kit soon with camber plates. So I know it'll need a full alignment after that full install.

I'm going to be bored next weekend when it supposed to be not freezing so I'd like to do the work on the car, im just not sure if I'd next two alignments after the starter kit, than again after the sway bars and shocks and springs?

I know for my winter car i got an alignment done and they offered a 120 day re-alignment, which i made sure if did my front and rear springs and shocks and took it back, but that was mavis.

Just looking for some input and feedback on the subject as steeda doesn't offer any install stuff on their website.

An alignment will be needed afterward, therefore, it would be best to install everything at once and pay once for the alignment.

Well shoot, I was kind of hoping to not see this answer. I'll have to check to see what my local ford dealership offers as far as a re alignment policy. I've gotta take the car in for a recall and have them check the granny fluid anyways.

Are you talking the aluminum pucks? If so, just do one side at a time, and paint pen your subframe and your body. Line up the paint lines when you bolt up, should be close enough.
Thats how mine was done. One side at a time. No issues. I will check my alignment next time I need tires, or more work done...

Bingo, No alignment necessary if you do it this way. Just wait until you get the rest of your kit installed.

Yeah im just doing the pucks , alignment dowels and braces. I've seen im going to have to drop the subframe anyways to get the rear springs out. figured if I could get away with not needing an alignment and get a week or two of driving before I installed new springs and shocks that'd be wonderful.

If the car isn’t a daily driver, I’d just do everything before you put it back together. The more times you remove the subframe bolts, the odds go up that you could potentially cross thread one or more of them.

I was very careful when lowering my subframe and thankfully I never had an issue with it. I also did a string alignment and took it to get aligned immediately and while the string method got me close, the alignment was still slightly off.

Once the weather breaks up here in NY it'll turn into my daily. depending on road salt etc left on the road, the next couple of weeks it's supposed to warm up.

I've still yet to decide whom to order my track pack from , so the timing could be in 2 weeks or a month or so. I'd prefer to get it all done before I leave for Florida in April. I'm really itching to drive it since it's been parked since September.
